@ROYALTYZ Zzz I think you’ll find it was the first of its kind. Let’s ignore the terrible US Office and remember the British Original. The original was inspired by the plethora of actual fly on the wall documentaries such as BBC “Airport”. It was such a new idea that it scored very low in the focus group it was first shown in. Gervais and Merchant are comedy geniuses, so yes I do believe that can create an original idea.
@ROYALTYZ Zzz The U.K. office was hugely successful which is why the US Office was made. It’s produced by Gervais and Merchant (until it went off the rails and started to tank). The Office has been remade in several different countries, all because of the U.K. original.

Larrie’s name is such a great joke. It was spelt differently to normal because of another Larry in the family, but that means his family knew there was already a Larry but they still decided to name him Larrie too.

It would have to be the full original cast and I think a handful of them are busy with other shows and/or movies.
Maybe we should just leave the series alone tbh. As much as I’d love to see them all together again I think it will be really difficult to recapture the quality of the original seasons.

Reno 911 was such a great show, and the format could be used again any time. Most of the cast has gone on to bigger and better things, and Comedy Central just doesn't pay that much, but a lot of up and coming improvisers could really shine in a new Reno 911.
