I have been to 31 United Mexican States out of 32 and I can say, Mexico is a very beautiful with rich culture and traditions. Nakakairita lang ang mga tao na nagsasabi na kesyo ganito, ganyan ang Mexico na hindi pa na-experienced ang pumunta sa Mexico. We had 42million international tourists in 2023. Viva Mexico! 🇲🇽

If the cheap staging of Miss Universe Mexico (imbalanced lighting, poor colors, ugly stage, etc.) is any indication of the staging of the Mexican-Thai owned Miss Universe pageant, we’re in for a disappointing show. It’s already a mockery of the iconic pageant to get rid of the much-desired EG in the prelims. How much worse are they going to push this pageant down the drain? What they SHOULD do instead is to have the contestants introduce themselves in their national costumes (since they WILL introduce themselves anyway, so it won’t be an extra segment) THEN proceed with the prelims using the SS and EG segments. The current plan of featuring the EGs at some expensive (again) extra night screams only $$$! So with their current plan, only the SS will be judged in the prelims (since there’s separate judging for the national costumes)? Then it’ll also be just the SS used to cut from Top 30 to Top 12? So we’re essentially watching just a swimsuit show???
