Thank you for this lovely and clear exposition of Hegel’s dialectic. I’m a teacher, and you have given me new insights into how my students grapple with new concepts- and why encountering new ideas can feel not only enlightening but also challenging and even painful. Those who do best are able to synthesize old and new concepts. A fascinating podcast!

Indeed...to many people experience pain and failure and merely view it as a negative. Thereby NEVER trying new things and growing. So they don't grow.

Going through the hardships, frustrations, anxiety, depression and unfairness' in the school system has inspired to want to write a book about Youth Liberation since the book I would like to read does not exist.

But you don't need to write a book.. And you don't need to read a book. Ha. Just let your imagination flow and it will all come to you.. Trying to put it to paper will only spoil it, sadly. Or is it?

I remember a therapist asking the person o was involved with a somple question,
"What did you admire or attracted you to your partner"? Simple yet effective

@user-dz1rc4wk2t in Hegelian terms, your therapist was engagng in a dialectical exploration of the subject's consciousness ;examining the contradictions and attractions ;-)
