Man I love you Powell guys! Seriously. Simply the best. Those old school decks are totally rad. I have a few. I also have an original 1985 Rodney Mullen freestyle deck with tracker trucks and Powell Bones wheels. A wall hanger. I cannot get enough of it. Whether it's to collect, ride, or wear. All of the skaters are amazing at their craft. I feel so blessed to witness y'all over the years. Zach my friend, you are a true artisan in the skateboarding industry.
My first Pro board 1985. Was riding a Variflex and a skater I didn't even know gave me this board. I rode it till there was nothing left, then got a Roskopp Face. Mike Mcgill carried the torch for the Florida skate scene. Much Respect and nostalgia 🔨
I love those old school decks. They're real comfortable for old guys like me to just cruise around. Zach and the Powell Peralta crew killin' it, as usual. Stay cool
Currently riding the Wilender board and it's so much fun, I still have all my flip tricks and it handles ransition skating like a boat, got some 56mm bones and 159 indys, it's so much fun, a nice change from my normal setup
@@ZachDoelling absolutely!! I just wish I would have continued. Only skated for about a year, had other interests at the time. But my 14 son who’s been skating for about a year got me a board for fathers 21’, so been back at it. Starting from ground ZERO! And I have to say, shit hurts so gods.
does that Modern McGIll have concave? I remember them originally having basically none - and the pop sounds like it's a lighter wood matrix than what they used to use in the early 80s.
I’ve seen Zach kickflip a hand board back in the day. He also skated the bowl with a longboard he can do anything if it’s a board he’ll find a way to work with it
@@ZachDoelling haha thanks for the reply man! it's the white nylon piece you attach to the tail to protect it. kinda like deck rails but for the tail. I'll take it off and see how it is
How long have you been skateboarding if you don't mind me asking? Out of all the skateboarders on TH-cam, you are definitely top 5. You have the cleanest pops and smooth buttery tricks I would honestly love to see a TH-cam skateboarding competition to declare the best TH-cam skateboarder atm

Nuts .
Those boards in the 80's were the most expensive ones. Very few kids I knew had one. My dad bought me a Roller Derby board. Lol
Ju jujitsu joke got me good, great video keep it up
Hahaha
That was awesome. Modern tech on old school gear. Hilarious shenanigans and proper flair. Rad team with a rad dream!
Great times to be had
Your riding is so smooth. You got anything big planned for this year. I was just watching the Red Bull rollercoaster thinking Zach Would kill this.
Big year for sure!
Growing up broke i used to want that deck so bad. I would go to rip city just to see that graphic.
I can relate my guy
Powell-Peralta was my first deck back in the 90’s. 🤘

Who are the top TH-cam skateboarders?
Anyone has a good, fair list?
Guess it depends on what you mean by top. Views, skill, entertainment value, there are quite a few skaters all with something different to offer.

5.28 you should call it the snooze button because you landed that joker late as fuck.
