At least it makes sense for Koyori. She has a set of human ears too.
They reminded me of arknights where most of the animal-eared characters has a pair of human ears too and use headphones or comunicators on them. I thought they used on human ears for comunication and the animal ears for battle.
Does Koyori not have human ears as well.
