She really shines when she plays guitar sections (including solos) when Shiren (red hair guitarist) is unable to play live (due to his hand muscles disease). Can you imagine playing solo written for 7-string guitar on 4-string violin? You just jumped into the rabbit hole of Unlucky Morpheus!... there are so many great songs from them....one of the most talented bands! Try reacting to Unlucky Morpheus song Cadaver/Revadac...live version. They play the song normally, then, at the end, they play the music from the end to beginning...backward...
Unlucky Morpheus are a one off band. They were put together in 2008 by Shiren and Fuki, but they were all friends that liked a video game series. The thing is that they were supposed to be a big band, it was just a small side project of a group of friends that were all in other bands. Then due to people starting to realise that Japan had other music apart from J-pop, due to 3 little girls in tutu's, people started looking for other bands from Japan and Unlucky Morpheus were found by a few of them. And due to getting people to react to them they have got bigger. I saw them play in London last October, their 1st time playing outside Japan, and they may be one of the best bands I have seen live. Fuki (singer) has had over 90 releases, mostly albums, in just over 12 years. She is in 4 or 5 bands, only 1 has official finished, and also released solo work. Jill (violin) only joined the band about 6 years ago and had added that extra something to the band. She was in other groups before that were hard rock/metal groups. Nice reaction! This band was formed by only 2 persons who are the vocalist Fuki and the guitarist Shiren whose old names were yuki and Hirano Yukimura. (the white jacket one). At that time, he was the only person in charge of the guitar, the bass and the programing. And they named themselves "Unlucky Morpheus". But in fact, Fuki thought of an abbreviation 'Ankimo' at first. And next, they thought the official name backwards from it. So the name is strange. 'Ankimo' is a Japanese food suitable for alcohol which is a liver of the frog fish. She loves it. For your information, The Japanese pronunciation of "Unlucky Morpheus" is 'Anrakkī Morufeusu'. Fuki has never done the voice training. She said her mother had a high toned voice too. She has sung like an opera singer among metal bands since she belonged to the former band "LIGHT BRINGER". But she changes the way to sing for the different projects which are "Fuki" and "Fuki Commune".

Music is like your second language, you can translate it to different kinds of instruments and have diff feels to it. For this one Classical and metal goes hand in hand. If Vivaldi is alive today, he might be playing in a super band like DT, or maybe a guitar god/virtuoso.
I read from someone that the member who plays the guitar in a static position suffers from arthritis but he does his best. That's why he plays the guitar that way.

I'd also recommend checking out another project the lead singer from this band is involved in called DOLL$BOXX, very different from Unlucky Morpheus, more a fusion of electro-pop, rock, metal, and funk with a very unique and fun sound. Their track Take My Chance is a great introduction to them if you're interested!

But since you've already heard the Finnish symphonic Metal band Nightwish, the fusion of Classical and Metal shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Even if this is the first Japanese group you've seen with that kind of crossover. Lead singer Fuki, and the violinist Jill are the only two women in the group, the rest are all men.
