Reason all these guys go undrafted is because they can have back problems not that far into there career and end up having to retired early. No teams wants that.
Not only that, a lot of them aren't fast enough and/or don't have enough stamina to be of much use in an NBA game. Especially as fast as the game is today and the way the rules have changed to favor wing players, these giants would be left at the other end of the court. It would take a giant who's pretty fast, has stamina, and can shoot the ball to make the NBA now
or just be nine feet tall and then he can make all the baskets he wants by just standing under the basket

True, 7,2 plus players would use too much energy to keep their additional weight and height balanced with their speed, which means they need more stamina.
The really tall ones suffer from back, knee and heart issues. Enlarged organs from overwork or hormone imbalance. Circulation issue too.

in the 80's and 90's it gave you a hell of a chance to make the NBA. Now the way the game has changed and the rules have changed these big guys have the rules and playstyle working against their favor. The NBA is more centered towards wing players and defense is becoming a lost art

I think they should limit the height of professional basketball players to 6'6" or lower. It isproven that not all 7 feet players are not that really good or exciting players. To level the playing field, no player of 7 feet tall will be accepted in professional play.

The video is well documented, but most measurements were taken after they retired. A few of these guys were still growing even in their 40s :
* Sizonenko was measured at 7 ft 10 in and named the world's tallest man in 1991. But, Sizonenko retired in 1986, and was "shorter", since he still grew 2 inches after 1991!
* Suleiman Ali Nashnush was never measured when he played basketball. He was supposedly just under 7'10 when he was balling and grew 3.5 inches after he underwent a surgery to stop his growth.
