We’re going to miss you on this Role, but Thank You for all the Amazing Work you brought in our Memories and I hope you continue Enjoying your Life in your Retirement.
Pamela has done some awesome work over the last 36 years. I'm both sad and happy that she is retiring. Happy, because she is able to take a step back and say when she has done enough. Sad, because at the same time I am so used to hearing her voice when I think of Milhouse or Jimbo. I will always think of Pamela when I hear Jimbo Jones say "Bite me, Skinner"
Going to miss hearing her voices in future Simpsons episodes later on. 😟 To, Pamela Hayden, thank you so much for everything. Hope you'll have fun doing other stuff while retiring. 🙂 It's sad that you're leaving The Simpsons, but I'm happy for you and accept this change. It's your choice to do whatever you want to in your life. Anyways, have fun with your friends and family.
Had the pleasure of meeting her while she was premiering a documentary about her life at a classic film theater that I worked at. I was her bartender, so (even though I would've loved to) I didn’t ask her any Simpsons questions or tell her that I knew who she was. It was very comforting to see someone I have admired for so many years be so normal and put together. She was very sweet and I feel very lucky to have met her. Definitely deserves her retirement! Also, for those wondering, the documentary she premiered was called "Jailhouse to Milhouse" if I remember correctly
I almost got a short heart attack prior to reading the description that Pamela Hayden passed away, but luckily that wasn’t the case. Still it is an end of an era for Pamela Hayden and her characters she voiced throughout her 35 year run such as Milhouse, Rod, Todd, Jimbo, to name a few and I think it’s one of the few instances in _The Simpsons_ that a voice actor has retired as their characters due to her age. Whoever will voice Milhouse and Pamela’s previous roles will have a lot of shoes to fill.
I honestly thought that was the case, but no… she’s just retiring from acting. I just hope Rod & Todd Flanders don’t get killed off because making Ned depressed after losing his entire family is just the last thing I want to see.
1:04I like Milhouse it nerdiest coolest kid in the Simpson always hang out with Bart Simpson he has lot cool video games that let Bart play I like that line “EVERYTHING COMING OUT MILHOUSE”
I had recently finished watching season 35 on Disney+ like a month ago and when I heard the news about Pamela retiring, I was sad I really like Milhouse and she was absolutely right about him getting knocked down over and over and always getting back up. I wish he was in a lot more episodes to be honest. It felt weird almost when he was in an episode but didn’t have many lines
Well I know Nancy Cartwright has also voiced Rod & Todd in addition to voicing Bart Ralph & Nelson. So maybe she could take over their roles from Pamela Hayden.
I know it's unlikely to happen but I would like a message to appear at the end of the next episode that said 'We like to thank Pamela Hayden for voicing Millhouse and other characters for 35 years, Enjoy your retirement and we will miss cause everything is coming up Millhouse. Thank you!'
@@HerbalMoon17 And yet she also hasn't appeared in anything that's not Simpsons for almost 20 years, so I would say that her leaving Simpsons is functionally retiring from any and all other work.
@@ConcernedAlienIt's worth noting that almost _every one_ of the show's primary VAs that aren't Nancy Cartwright, Dan Castellaneta, and Hank Azaria haven't had much prominent or notable acting and/or voice acting roles *outside* of the show in the years since it has aired. One example is Julie Kavner (Marge), who hasn't had an acting role since the 2000's -- her last on-camera role was in the 2006 Adam Sandler film "Click"; and Yeardley Smith (Lisa) only has one other voice role which was in the 1993 Universal animated film "We're Back!".

At least one Simpsons voice actor has the good sence to retire. The Simpsons should have wrapped up in the early 2000s but they had to milk every last drop of precious precious money out of what was once a great show & now just a sad shell of its former self.
Jimbo: Nice P.J.s Simpson. Did your mommy buy them for you? Bart: Of course she did, who else would have? Jimbo: all right simpson, you won this round.
I got scared and thought that Pamela Hayden passed away. It’s sad that she is retiring but I hope she enjoys her retirement.
Same here.
Now if only Julie Kavier retires as Marge. But I don’t think that’s gonna happen, as she plays one of the main characters.
Milhouse is one of my favorite characters of The Simpsons 🎉
she had a great run
@@ShockwaveFPSStudiosNo disrespect, but she seriously needs to be replaced already. Her voice sounds like it's dying.
Thank you Pamela Hayden for 35 years of Laughter and Joy and Good Luck on Your Next Adventure 🥹🥹🥹
I met Pamela and watched her record lines for Milhouse at Fox Studios! She was so sweet! Legendary

Sad to see go Pamela Hayden. Your voices as Milhouse, Rod, Todd, Jimbo will be missed and loved. Injoy your retirement.
But who’s gonna voice them now?
My favorite is Millhouse
They might as well cancel the show while they're at it

Yet another reason to put this show out to pasture
She can't do it we all miss you
I’m 38, which means she’s been doing the voices since I was 3 yrs old ☹️
So are they gonna recast her roles or just write out the characters? I feel like Rod, Todd, Jimbo and especially Milhouse are mainstays.

Who’s gonna voice Milhouse now?
Maybe Jessica DiCicco.
I will miss you Pamela Hayden
So who's going to take over as Milhouse, Jimbo and Rod?

Nancy Cartwright would probably voiced Rod & Todd fully, she & Pamela Hayden had often voice one or the other or both throughout the show.
have a great retirement, Ms Hayden. Im glad to have known you since Spyro year of the Dragon. and the fact that you are from New England, like me.
We're all going to Miss her as Milhouse
