I'm a big fan of these inverted burner designs, iwatani did it first with their ECO burner design but now several companies have copied it. It works much better than a typical flower style burner.

I'm hearing that the lower Aluminum burner plates are getting bubbles on the surface from metal impurities when they get hot. Causing Warts in the metal surface.. Have you seen this happen?

Campingmoon's SOTO Windmaster knock off puts the boil time of this stove to shame.. Have the same Stanley pot, 2.5 minutes at almost 9000 feet my home location, better time depends on the water temp and altitude.

To get good boiling times you have to turn it up all the way, not what you call good enough!!!

A toaks titanium cup would boil much faster
