Their goal is to prove the effectiveness of their weapons to all, so their aim is to get a certain amount of equipment breaks and dismemberments, and success means the exotic weapons are adopted by the locals, unlocking them for all future runs.

For a character whose name sounds like a fruit (Mango) he sure does a lot of damage with apples. His talents also include klling people with stools. If you were to ask a veteran, they would say "My death should be honourable, and not from a damn fruit!" After work he drinks tea with Princess Peach, and makes stools for future gladiators.
