New bike season is slowly coming to an end, but not before we took delivery of the 2023 Honda CRF250R. Though the model enters the new year unchanged, its current generation platform that was introduced last year earned the liking of many. Swapmoto Live's Donn Maeda and Bell Helmet's Kyle Vara spent a day on the red machine before giving us their first thoughts, check it out!

So, 2023 is unchanged from 2022...2022 was "hard and way too stiff in suspension department" and now it is very confortable and too soft !
    WTF ?? 😂

The stock settings on the suspension might be better, components are the same maybe idfk

Motor is better tho from factory! Not a Honda guy whatsoever but good looking machine. Be a fun ride. Get front forks done & go racing. -NY

Got a 24 but went with the rx because it has a little softer suspension than the r does. I think it’s perfect

Just seen another report on this bike & they say the front suspension is supercross stiff.

I am 6'2" and 205, I ride a 2019 RMZ-250. My bike rips with me on it, pulls in every gear. I can control my 250 way easier, the 450 was too much and got away from me too easily. But if you are strictly racing? the power of the 450 will allow you to come out of a turn with limited distance to clear a big jump and thats where the 450 will send it.

I just wana know if the motor will last. I’m between the kx, yzf and crf 250s. I’d get the yz but the cam chains are weak. The kx is cool but they seem to use crap parts and the Honda seems cool but they always seem to blow up

How loud is the bike compared to a 2021 with the duals

@@bradyn2193 Agreed, personally not one for loud exhausts especially since my hearing is already jacked and I’m only in my 20s lol. But most people aren’t like that so it’s a good point of reference for dudes who want a monster loud bike
