a CG in the galery that comes as a proof of defeat. The CG has B.Battler, coatless and his tie loose, sitting and around him are all the signatures of the staff.
@NipuChan Some of his victory quotes are hilarious, he would even tell you ''Don't worry, I already know you are a virgin.''. He is not your everyday bad guy.
if we are talking in B.Battler's case, he is the embodiment of culprit forgeries saying that Battler and his family were the culprits, so he is an exception to the ''Detective can't be the culprit''. Now, regarding Tohya, we don't really know what happend in Ange's universe. Remember that Eva's diary is supposed to have the truth written, and probably it was a different thing from what we've seen from the magic side.
that is absolutely true! ever since i read all the Graphic novels( i couldnt read the visual novels) and saw the anime, ive been trying to figure it out too, but with all the convoluted ideas and theories, its been one whole mindfk. Well this debate was fun while it lasted.
Consider that Ange-Beatrice is given existance almost the same way as B.Battler has, except she is a result of a ''What if'' theory. Also, you would bloody respect someone that has the ability to slowly destroy you, starting by breaking your fingers one by one and enjoying each sound your bones breaking, just like how a musician does when creating his masterpiece. I do respect B.Battler for how batshit insane he is, and he is a complete change from Battler's perverted antics.
yup, ill never get bored of this lol, it beats having an argument with my cousin. He is a piece of his own, yet he is never the murderer in the case because if he was, why would he try to figure things out in the first place? As the Detective he isnt the murdurer. But when he becomes the Game master, i get stuck....
Except that many theories are forgeries, and forgeries give birth to culprits of tales. To me, I haven't stopped thinking, as long as there's a possibility, then it's all about finding out what actually happend.
An absolute truth that magically the person gets to know doesn't sound like something from a mystery novel. You can figure a closed room out if there were hints about it. They can't pull out of their rear a secret door out of a closed room if they didn't foreshadow it or gave hints of one existing in that room.
well if it is a plain mystery, then the story is pretty damn convoluted. The Shkanontrice Theory, Your Theory, My Theory, and other people's theories! This Mystery, i think at least, was supposed to have a fantasy twist to it. anyways... i think this debate thingy has to end, other wise we'll be going on forever :/
Or, maybe the goats were the representation of Beatrice, who was still alive at the time? Shannon and Kanon can die as personalities, but Beatrice will still live on unless she is killed, through her personality or not.
You can take on that from what other characters tell Battler, even though he is shown the magic side of the story, he has to find what actually happend. To me, everything is displayed and open for everyone to know what happend, since some events repeat everytime and after those events happend the whole thing starts. Also, Battler on his own is a piece of Beato's game and can move on his own, see episode 5 for reference.
Rosa is the murderer suddenly everything in the game makes sense well apart from the fact that George and her were working together without really knowing each other but hey it still makes sense to say rosa and george are the culprits. more than the shkannontrice theory.
@MikeArcade07 It doesn't change anything. This only happens in if complete the game in hard mode without losing. It's similar to the Onslaught challenge in MVC1, they would be up being easy even though he would wipe the floor with your face. I like this kind of brickwalling experience at the end, makes up for all the trouble.
then accept this as a mystery novel with a twist, because this is what it is basically. The Truth is told mostly after they assume the "possible" anyways. (on a side note i think Knox's laws doesnt allow a hidden room.)
@iEreki It's every buff from anything and they last quite a long time too. Even by doing a simple touch they both get all of them. Hell, by just having Dlanor, Battler, Ronove and Erika's buff is enough to murder anyone. (Super Armor, Regen, Triple Damage when counter hitting, Hits count as Counter hits). I will eventually figure out how it works, but it's going to take me several tries and several arcade runs to complete it.
Hai, Battler-sama. Then again, consider how this guy was only created to kill and became sentinent about it afterwards. Also that he knew he would grow stronger if more black forgeries exist claiming that Battler was the culprit of the tale, which would be alot. So yeah, even a witch of the high order would be scared shitless if a piece is able to to break through their master's control and wipe out everyone with little to no trouble.
@TheNotoriousMC2 Actually, B.Battler is the only Evil Ryu character that doesn't do that. Yeah he kills and is evil and quite psychoic, blah blah blah, but at least you can sit down and have a cup of tea/coffee with him and talk for a while. also, he'd rip Evil Ryu and Oni to shreds without breaking a sweat.
This may also be a very late reply but I'm pretty sure there was a discussion in EP6 about how battler didn't have any of the detective perks. In EP1-4 he basically had the same abilities as Erika in EP6. All Battler had was an objective perspective. Not like the story is really a mystery in the first place, it's more of a play on the Mystery and Fantasy genres.
But the red truth is a concept in which the mystery revolves around. Red Truth is like evidence in which who did what, Without the red truth there is only circumstancial evidence(mostly) and to seperate the Fantasy from the Mystery in this case, is like a closed room murder, You just cant figure things out easily. The red Truth is what make this a true mystery novel, since with it, there is evidence other than the "seen".
I won XD, i got a picture called "All Staff B.Battler cleared", with Chiester and Lucifer. No cheats, three controls broken, lots of swears XD Lucifer's ability is damn useful
But as a Red Truth States, he cant be the Culprit, and Erika, again IS a Piece so even if she kills it is meaningless, since she is not of the original people on the island. btw this is fun lol
Strange fighting game, a Doujin? Also I hate Bonus Final Battles like this, lose and you can't continue and you can't get the real ending. I feel for you man I really do... Also lol on Winners.
But she actually did kill, the casualties in episode 6 were in the hands of Erika. All of them were playing dead, and in order to get a valid and foolproof autopsy, she made sure they were dead by beheading them. I think that still counts as killing. He is the detective and the protagonist of 4 stories, but that doesn't mean he can't be culprit outside the 4 stories. Outside the 4 stories are what actually happend and the forgeries that were created. And yes, I have seen his videos.
Erika couldnt be the Culprit nor Kill anyone since she would be a culprit in that game, since she's a piece, she cannot interact much mor than point people in a direction. Battler Cant be it because hes the protaginist and as the detective in the whole thing, cant be the culprit. Red Truths help too! Have you seen KnownNomore's Videos? His Umineko explained Videos somewhat tied into what i found out, although, he was waaaaaay more thourogh than i was. He's done alot more research than ive done.
@smartguy5546 Stun boost, Silent attack, Massacre, Attack Touch, Brimful, 5 special bar and full Meta world bar. Ah, also Black Battler's AI and his 2 bar special. Nah, I don't think it's suicide at all.
Nope. Bernkastel basically says that he didn't had what Erika has in 1-4. I think it's in ep6. Then again, Ryu also wants to make you think the opposite at time so there is no way to be sure. (And the story certainly is a mystery, just one that plays a loooooooooooooooot with the concept of truth)
and to round up, Erika couldn't be a culprit with the detective's authority, but she could kill without it. It tells you that Battler himself could have done the same thing as well without us knowing he actually did it, since he doesn't have detective's authority. Don't be concerned about the late reply.
To me, it's a plain mystery. Not a mystery with a twist of balls. Also, Knox rules do not allow hidden rooms unless they are foreshadowed to provided hints of one existing, and it's actually made that way cause it if there wasn't any hint given, then it would be very hard for the reader to solve a mystery like that.
That would be a nice theory, but there is a little failure, Angeburger is that fail. When Ange is called by B.Battler she respectful says "Hai, Battler-sama", but when she calls him she insults B.Battler calling him "Nisemono!" which means impostor, phony or something like that. Isn't it strange? A lot of respect and then BOOM! It's weird.
@ViolinSnowKid2 It may be true, but there's no proof of said thing. I will belive when I see a video of it happening. And it's a resonable thing, comming from such an event where the boss character's grabs will always stun you if they land.
this may be a late reply to this but, what about Detective Athourity, The Detective can be the Culprit, and since battler was the detective for 4 Novels( i think ) He cant be the Culprit. And Erika was a Piece made by Bern so she couldnt be the Culprit anyways, even if she had the Detective athourity for one time.
And here's the misconception that I tend to see. What do you take this story as? Mystery or fantasy? If you read a mystery novel and then a Fantasy novel then you can see which is which. To me, this is a mystery, and in order for it to become a complete mystery I have to ignore the fantasy. Red Truth is, on it's own, of fantasy usage. A mystery is can be only resolved if foreshadowing or elements are previously mentioned to help the reader to solve it.
Actually, you don't have to beat hard mode with B. Battler. I got to this fight by beating it with Battler and Beatrice. Also, another person on youtube has a video of them beating him with Virgila and Jessica.
Oh shit Auau.... But Episode 2 Turn of the Golden Witch is literally a type of personification for Rosa being the culprit. It's even hinted that she has a split personality Ex: ripping away at Sakutaro or slapping Maria and quickly feeling excessively guilty. This could be just her motherly instinct acting up in a way of apologising for what she's done, but at the End of EP 2 *SPOILER* We might be able to conclude that the goats where all an illusion and the bomb got to them before escapeing
@fernandovrivasmx Yeah, you get a CG that shows you won against him. But yeah, I don't want to win with a cheat engine. I know I can beat him eventually, without cheating.
Well um.. you sorta just restated what I said or I guess meant to say if you took it differently. Whether it's a mystery or not I don't feel like arguing over.
a CG in the galery that comes as a proof of defeat.
The CG has B.Battler, coatless and his tie loose, sitting and around him are all the signatures of the staff.
If you try to fight Boss Black Battler
YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME.
@NipuChan Some of his victory quotes are hilarious, he would even tell you ''Don't worry, I already know you are a virgin.''.
He is not your everyday bad guy.

b.batler for capcom vs marvel 4?
Need MOAR B.Battler endings
that is absolutely true! ever since i read all the Graphic novels( i couldnt read the visual novels) and saw the anime, ive been trying to figure it out too, but with all the convoluted ideas and theories, its been one whole mindfk. Well this debate was fun while it lasted.

That is what I think as well, that is just clever foreshadowing for those who read the last episode of the VN.
So somebody was able to kill Evil Battler using Virgilia's spear spams.
well if it is a plain mystery, then the story is pretty damn convoluted. The Shkanontrice Theory, Your Theory, My Theory, and other people's theories! This Mystery, i think at least, was supposed to have a fantasy twist to it. anyways... i think this debate thingy has to end, other wise we'll be going on forever :/

@JeffHikari It's the Ougon Musou Kyoku X opening in instrumental form.
This monster is inmortal
then accept this as a mystery novel with a twist, because this is what it is basically. The Truth is told mostly after they assume the "possible" anyways. (on a side note i think Knox's laws doesnt allow a hidden room.)
@Kamek20xxExtra
Shao Khan and Rugal would be so proud...
Practice and having a strategy is what it takes. Defeating the foe when the odds are stacked against you is pretty good.
Indeed. At least he won't have a weakness known as CIVILITY. xD
Ooh, you even got the best intro from Black Battler.
@FukoTheZombie Yeah, that's a forced synergy right there. It works pretty damn well.

This video happend in patch 2.00. Today Ougon was updated to 2.01 and a few small changes were made to B.Battler's arsenal.
harder or easier than 2.00?
I won XD, i got a picture called "All Staff B.Battler cleared", with Chiester and Lucifer.
No cheats, three controls broken, lots of swears XD
Lucifer's ability is damn useful
@TheNotoriousMC2 If you wait 2 hours, you will get even more of his quotes.
@Darkraigrl It is indeed Umineko.
Well aware of it.
Thanks anyway for pointing it out.
@BeatDropSora This is Cross, and it's a beautiful game.
@ViolinSnowKid2 Nope, he mocks one of the characters for being a virgin. I think it is George.
@FukoTheZombie No offense taken man. It's good that at least you tried, just give your best and try again!
@RunningWildVidya
It's actually Battletoads.
brown haired shanon, thats my kind of ending
Think of it This way. Auau did not like how the story was going and decided to rewrite it to please her. AHAHA.WAV
But she actually did kill, the casualties in episode 6 were in the hands of Erika. All of them were playing dead, and in order to get a valid and foolproof autopsy, she made sure they were dead by beheading them. I think that still counts as killing.

@HASJ At this point in time, anything seems copied. Then again, imitation is the best form of flattery.
@smartguy5546 Stun boost, Silent attack, Massacre, Attack Touch, Brimful, 5 special bar and full Meta world bar. Ah, also Black Battler's AI and his 2 bar special.
Nah, I don't think it's suicide at all.
@Aracia Wait a little bit more and you will have more of it. It will be worth the weight.
@AuskaNeumaki
No. Where you heard that from?
@xxxnanayaxxx Congratz, but I already knew what you can get from beating him.
What is lacking is proof of beating him in video form.
and to round up, Erika couldn't be a culprit with the detective's authority, but she could kill without it. It tells you that Battler himself could have done the same thing as well without us knowing he actually did it, since he doesn't have detective's authority.
Don't be concerned about the late reply.
@Kamek20xxExtra this is worse than SNK boss! o.0;
Because, apparently, Tohya is Battler.
Denku In a sense, yes, Tohya is Battler. It doesn't really make so much sense but eh...
VIOLENCE....IS WHO I AM!
Hey, wait a minute.....
To me, it's a plain mystery. Not a mystery with a twist of balls.

@thedollbrusher The game? In the mailbox.

If you kill him he says some stuff and you get the congratulations screen, that´s it.
@Pantrax15 Do Arcade mode with Battler once, that will unlock him.
@KloserLuckiboi It may work, I will give it a try.
I can beat each movement without being killed a single time time but I can't fucking touch black battler XD
@RunningWildVidya Nope, it's it's own game
It's not that bad, to be honest, you learn alot from the encounter on it's own overtime and it's fun to fight something unfair once in a while.
Ahaha.wav
Wait a minute...is this cross? Whatever it is. I want it now because i loved the game.
@ViolinSnowKid2 It may be true, but there's no proof of said thing. I will belive when I see a video of it happening.

But yeah, I don't want to win with a cheat engine. I know I can beat him eventually, without cheating.
I tried by using B. Battler/George, and managed to reduce one bar in every round. What about the combination with Chiester?
@Kamek20xxExtra Its been like that always yo
cross
How is she the culprit?
Hey, how did you unlocked Black Battler? I don't have the slightest idea xD
Out of curiosity, what will you get when you beat those Battlers?
Well um.. you sorta just restated what I said or I guess meant to say if you took it differently. Whether it's a mystery or not I don't feel like arguing over.
What's the track for this fight?
Cant*
@fernandovrivasmx I want that cheat engine
