Thanks for this video. The PMP PMI study group helped a lot. I studied on and off for 3 months. However, i studied hard for 3 weeks. The rest was just reading. I passed first time yesterday and this video helped a lot. Thanks for making this.

This was so helpful, thank you!! You went into so much more detail than people who just make a super obvious list of things they did. As someone who's just getting started with studying after 3 years of work, your tips were really helpful. Studying methods for the PMP exam isn't all that different from studying for an exam in college, but knowing all the resources are out there is what was eluding me. Knowing that PMI offers these study halls is really good to know!

Studying for PMP will change your mindset in project management and helps you become a better project manager, it's not just a certificate to add to your resume. If you don't really have too , please do not attempt to pass it in two weeks. You'll be losing a true opportunity to improve your career as a project manager.

Congratulations! All the people I know that have been through it told me it takes a lot of effort... Great job! :) One question, because I'll be moving to Europe in the near future... In case you didn't have your Prince2 cert yet... Why did you chose PMP over it? (I have the Prince2 one). I had the understanding that Europe is more "Prince2centric". PMP is definitely required in the Americas, for sure. I honestly think they are both as useful but for some reason or trend they tend to ask more for one or the other depending on the region. Why did you go for it? Once, again congratulations since this kind of frameworks is one of the must certs you should have as an IT worker!! Love your videos! :D

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

First of all, thank you. :)
I don’t particularly have any special reason for taking PMP instead of Prince2. I know a couple of people with Prince2 cert at my workplace. However, those with higher positions tend to have PMP cert instead and that contributed my focus on PMP instead of other PM certs. Your question is like, IELTS or TOEFL? Well, depends on where you works now and later, I guess 😅💁🏻‍♀️

Udemy does frequent promos. The promo price is 19.99 and regular price is 109. I suggest you buy it when it’s on promo

Hello, This is an excellent video and useful for PMP aspirants. Does Udemy PMP prep course completion give 35 contact hours, required for PMP application? Course content says Authorized trainer Partner (ATP) is the way to get contact hours. Per student charge of $99. Greatly appreciate if you could provide details on how to get contact hours to fill the PMP application. Thanks.

@@masterbaiter7891 there are plenty of ways to get the 35 hours. Some of your uni classes can count. You can take a udemy course or lecture. Some of your work experience may count, etc. It's on the pmi page.
