Also TIA’s the mindset videos
I just finished my exam and passed at first attempt !! 😍😍 I exactly followed what you did except reading the full book ! Thank you so much for sharing this 😍🎉
Congratulations!!! I’m happy to hear my tips helped you!🍾🥳
Congrats girl!!!!!! I’m so excited to take my exam in May. Studying is coming along really well. I’m a project manager on a chief of staff team at a financial institution. It’s no joke! Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you so much! Good luck with your studies… you got this !

This is a great video! Congratulations on passing! I agree with everything you said (resources and all) I cleared my exam this week and followed a very similar plan!
Congratulations!! 🎉
I’m so glad you posted this recently. I have 2 weeks until my exam and I’m planning to use Andrew’s guide as a refresher.
Good luck girl!
Congrats girl!!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!!
Hello Ulyssia, Just want to thank you very much again for sharing this video. I passed my PMP yesterday on first try. Your video helped me to refine my exam strategies including Studyhall subscription from PMI and Third rock study notes. That was really helpful. Thanks again.
I’m happy my video was helpful. Good luck on your exam!
I'm really glad I stumbled upon this video! I'm taking the test on Tuesday and will have studied for about a week. I've been PM'ing and a Producer for a long, long time. The exam questions in the Study Hall are, well...what can I say. I do get 100% on all the People parts. It's the Processes that I have to practice, as I've always used some Frankenstein hybrid of my/the Team's own design. ANYWAY, I notice that I do much better on the questions from PMI Infinity (Chat GPT). But they're the same questions, basically, since they're from PMI. I downloaded the Third3Rock study notes too. They're awesome. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing David’s videos - I just passed my exam! They were what I needed!
Also Study Hall is VERY helpful for the exam.
Congratulations!!!!
I'm currently taking Andrew's course. It's really good!
Thanks for sharing, really helpful
Congratulations!!!
Thank you 💗!
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching! I hope the video was helpful 🫶🏾
Passed my CAPM last month, and now I'm studying for my PMP. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats 🎉
Congratulations hun. I just completed google coursera project management certificate, now studying for pmp exam!!!
I'm doing the same!!
thanks for sharing, I have the book also. I already have the 35hrs, I bought the book for studying and practice. I will for sure focus on the mindset and purchase PMI study hall.
Yes! Study Hall will get you right. Good luck 💕
Congratulations on your certification. Thank you for your content. I am using PMI Study Buddy as well. It is good to know I am on the right track. My exam is tomorrow morning and I have been studying for months now. I am so nervous Again Thank you and wish me luck.
Best of luck!
Congratulations
Congrats!!!
I'm taking my PMP exam in 2 days and I'm stressed out with my study hall results. I keep falling within the 50 in my practice exams.
Good luck! Those practice exams were brutal at 1st but I slowly started to score higher. How did you score on your full length exams? As long as you score a 70% or higher you should be all set
@aGayle Oh Boy!!! I passed my exam. I'm so excited. Your video has also been a great inspiration. Thank you!
@oladapoeludire congratulations!!!!
Congrats! I take my exam on March 12th and im nervous as heck! I purchased Study Hall, bought Andrew's book & did his 35 hr course, and I purchased Andrew's exam simulator. Study Hall is kicking my butt😫😫.
. . . best wishes to you, Kanitta! You got this. (P.S. Try to return his book if you can--he said it himself that you don't need both the book and the course.)
@StilettoShay oh I didn't know that. I wrote in it already. Lol. Thank you for wishing me good luck, I need it. Lol
@StilettoShay yessss! Congratulations girl! What a relief to be done and pass with 3 ATs! I’m so proud of you! 💕
@StilettoShay took my exam today and received the provisional letter stating that I passed! Soooooo excited!
@kanittaj3894 congratulations 🎉
Congratulations!!
Thank you!
Hey! Congratulations on passing the exam! And thank you for this video, I would like to know what course/class/videos of Andrew's did you use? I see a few of the courses that he is offering but I dont know which one to take. This would help me, thanks!
www.tiapmtraining.com/p/pmp-exam-prep . If you purchase his book on Amazon you’ll get a code to gain access to the course for free
Thank you for the reply! @@UlyssiaGayle
Congratulations! Thanks for your feedback on the exam and prep. Out of curiosity what made you want to get the PMP ? Since you’re already working in the field, was it for a potential promotion, did your employer make it mandatory?
It wasn’t required by my current employer, however for I noticed it was required for many contract roles. So I made it a goal to get it just in case I wanted to pick up a few contracts.
Good job.
Thank you!
You make the experience to sound so easy. Congrats on your achievement. I'm taking my exam in May, did you have all EMV formulas morized? How many questions require calculations?
I didn’t have any EMV calculations.. I think I only had 1 or 2 questions that required calculations.
@@UlyssiaGayle Hello. Thanks for sharing about your PMP certification journey. Did you memorize all the formulas?
I just took it and unfortunately failed I had sooo many questions on agile I felt like I was given the agile certification exam. I am going to invest in PMI Study hall for my retake.
Yes, study hall is going to help you so much. It’s all about the PM mindset. I would recommend taking every single practice question, quiz and all the exams! It’s a lot but it will help you in the long run.
Hey sister , if you have CAPM cert from PMI I believe you don't need the training. -just the years experience and bachelor's. Check website if anyone has questions. GREAT VIDEO
Side note - Do you sing? You have such beautiful resonates in your voice! Beside being a an amazing project manager!! you should be a public speaker!!
Thank you but no I don’t sing lol
which book is that did you say
one quick question.. Is it good idea to write down 49 processes and EVM formulas on plain paper as soon as exam starts in person..? So you can refer to it throughout the exam when needed. not sure it will be helpful or not. Can you please share your experience..? Thanks
Great question. I would say that its a good idea to have a understanding of the 49 processes but I wouldn't say you need to memorize or write them down as soon as you enter the testing center because I don’t think it will help you pass the current exam. I would review the PMI exam content outline for what topics will be on the exam.
I took the test today and passed. Waiting for official results.
Congratulations!
@@UlyssiaGayle thanks
Hi @koredesolola807 please how did you make payment for the exam as a Nigerian? I'm having difficulty in doing so
Congratulations, my dear. I've a question. Which of the course do you recommend? Is it the Live course or? Which books do you recommend?
I took Andrew Ramdayals course that was included in his book on Amazon. Just type in his name here on YT or Amazon and he will come up.
When you list your proof of 36 months of experience on your application, your managers have to sign off on them?
No, but it is advised to give them a heads up that you’re applying just in case you get audited.
Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈🎊 Question, how much did it cost to take the exam? How long did it take you to complete the exam?
Thank you! I had 30 mins remaining when I submitted my final question.
@@UlyssiaGayle . . . 30 minutes remaining?! Girrrl, you did that! 🙌🙌🙌 I barely had a minute remaining, but I did pass on my first try 3AT as well. Congratulations, Pooh--welcome to the club!! 💜💜💜 Sooo proud of you!!! 🤗🤗🤗
CONGRATS ULYSSA 🎉🎉🎉🎉
PLEASE , HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU BCUZ I WANNA TAKE MY PMP EXAM IN AUGUST ? THANK YOU.
Thank you! You can send me an email.. it’s in the description box.
Copy that!
Hi please what package did you get? The more expensive one? Thanks
For the study guide? Yes, I purchased the package that includes the cheat sheet, pdf & google doc
Were there lots of formulas and the 49 processes on the exam? Any helpful tips on memorizing this please?
Memorizing the 49 processes is not necessary to pass the exam.
Wrote April 8,2024. Not 1 calculation question appeared on my test. It’s good to understand the formulas, might be different for others.
Do thr Study Hall. It's harder than the exam but it was worth it.
Yep! I feel study hall prepared me mentally for the exam.
Did you sign up for the exam, got your exam date before you started studying?
Yes, I started studying before I paid for the exam. I knew when I wanted to take the exam but kept talking myself out of booking it 😅
So should I pay for my exams and start studying or start studying now then pay for the exams and study more 😅
@deedriawilson887 If you’re like me and would continue to delay booking the exam… I would book the exam then study. This way you have a target date to work towards. You also have to pay to move the exam so it’s motivation to stick to the date you book. I would give yourself 2 months to study.
@@UlyssiaGayle thank you so much 😊
Why don't you make a video telling in detail your study routine. How many hours did you study per day, how many mock test you did per week, etc.
That’s a good idea. Maybe I’ll create another Q&A video. Any other questions you may have?
@@UlyssiaGayle I actually love the way you made your video. A lot of good information.
As much as I want to test in a month, my dashboard on study hall for the practice questions is literally telling me not to.
I’d definitely like your guidance on how you studied and retained all of this information in order to pass.
I haven’t even started the the mini practice exams and I already feel defeated tbh! My overall dashboard score is 45%, how the hell or what the hell do I need to do for it to get 60’s and 70’s????
How many practice questions or quizzes have you taken so far? My advice would be to go back and review the questions you got wrong. Try to understand the reasoning behind the answer. Remember when answering the questions to follow the sequence below when answering questions:
assess review and take action
If you haven’t already, I recommend purchasing the study notes by third3rockpmp! They are very thorough and helpful!
My 1st few tests I scored in the 40s and got better with each practice test.
I’ve gone through all of the practice questions so far from my last comment to you on SH. And I currently completed five exams 5 so far. I do want to add that I normally read the wrong answers after I finish the practice exam/questions but it’s just retaining that info the next day or three days later lol.
Also, Thank you for mentioning Third Rock’s notes as recommended. I have been trying to read a section at a time everyday in a way I can consume and retain the notes. Which that sequence you stated was the very first one “A.R.T”! I’m hoping everything I’m reviewing and doing will get me this certification.
Lastly, I’m hoping my scores increases as well. If the actual CAPM/PMP test is this way then there might be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Can you please tell me which package did you purchase from the third3rock options I'm confused
I purchased the google doc + pdf + cheat sheet package!
Congratulations
