Neighbor was out jogging and heard two guys talking behind him. He wasn’t sure but thought they were planning to jump him. He stopped, turned around and started acting and talking crazy. They freaked and ran away. You never know but people tend to freak out about crazy.

Now that I’m older with some disability I’m more aware of situations. My brain says I’m more capable than I really am unfortunately . As a senior I think we’re an easier target for bad things to happen.

The Toyota Hiace van we had had the engine under the seat so there was really only the windshield protecting us. I didn't see it, but something in me did. I always trust my gut and thank it daily.

Some man drove directly to the front of her vehicle with a 9mm pistol pointed at her head.He got out of his truck which was blocking her ability to move wuickly..he stood at her door eith pistol pointed at her head, he discharged the weapon in 5he dirt,again pointing the pistol at her head. I thought i would love this as i listen to all these guys. Im newly retired female combat veteran who also worked for several gov agencies. I am always looking out and carry. But this was so painful to listen to with this woman. Here where I live most the things she mentioned in stories would make her victim or people would be suspicious of her especially taking pictures on hwy or people driving regardless of her perception if they are driving "cray" or something. I used to drive Harleys and my mom head of a big chapter in FL and people just have made it more dangerous in general. I like how he said she is hero in her own stories. I have been in lot of bad and dangerous situations. Ive been kidnapped in past before and escaped months later. I just couldn't watch this without saying something. Wish these guys spoke more or just different and may try another video but after 1st story rest was just hard to listen to. I grew up with my father a sniper and head of police and atf and all kinds of things in his career and have grown up with awareness and taught my now late teens early 20s same thing. I usually do run errands now with husband or sons to have extra eyes and help and doesn't have to do with just being female. But as women we have to acknowledge our weaknesses and what adds to that. I never use phone when walking around anywhere out. We live in rural area on farm not far outside Atlanta. I have had shoot out on I 10 before at night . You can do lot of things to be safe but managing the danger is key. There are people here will shoot out of state plates . Profiling people are absolutely necessary and not bad thing but lot of people now also not able to get meds as lot of pharmacies low or out and so lot of sick people out and doesn't have to be just mental medication but also others that cause withdrawal or other effects.
