Bobby I respect your views but I disagree with the Gospel part. Gospel wasnt really shoved in our ass but those guys kina Rufftone, Owen,Gospel Fathers, Jog C, Danco,Juliani, Late Kaberere...etc really put in work in their Music at that time. Secular musicians mlikua mmelala. You should probably go listen to some of their music journeys kwa CTA, ndio utaelewa. That era of Gospel Music was just the best,its simple as that. I agree Gospel songs were being played kwa the Beat but unasahau vile Gospel TV shows were huge on sundays that is Kubamba Tv, Crossover 101, Tukuza.Then Groove Awards ...that was simply a golden era of Gospel Music.
