Ah the 80s, when so many shooters were a mix of space & suggestive genitalia and every final boss was some kind of pulsating biomechanical phallic/vajay thing encircled by laser-firing, disembodied eyeballs.
I rate the game a flawed gemstone, it has some interesting new and different aspects, but it has several serious design flaws, the big big one being that all the bosses are essentially more and more powerful versions of the same being, instead of a succession of different beings. One of the most annoyingly repetitive games I've ever played, and one I intend to discuss on my channel, but I'm hesitant to label it a royal flush (bad bad bad BAD) because it is partially redeemed by it's soundtrack and it's overall very unique design.
