In my opinion at the beginning I would have had at least one guy become one of the little firebird things ahead of time. You would have had like a heads up. I mean it's good that you're distributing the power evenly but throwing it one off. You would still have like the ball attack on one guy I believe. Worst case the solid beam. Considering that other player can take a bunch of hits also once he becomes the final form
