Japan, Tokyo walking tour | Shibuya in evening [4K]

- I took a 4K video during an evening walk around Shibuya Station in Tokyo.
Shibuya Scramble Crossing, the start of this walk, is a popular tourist spot in Tokyo, attracting many people from Japan and abroad.
The Shibuya Center Street that stretches beyond the scramble crossing is lined with many restaurants, but it is also crowded in many ways, with many touts and drunks.
If you are tired of the bustle of Shibuya, it is recommended to walk a short distance from Shibuya Station to Yoyogi Park, where you will find a vast expanse of nature.
Yoyogi Park is a stop at the beginning of the Harajuku video below, so be sure to check it out as well.

I traveled to Tokyo last November, and I miss Tokyo😥 So since I came back to my country Korea, I started to study Japanese to study abroad :) I'm happy to watch your video. I got a lot of energy and motivation!!! Thank YOUUUU
Thanks for watching the video. I am very happy that you are interested in Japan and learning Japanese 😊 Thank you!
I love the atmosphere of your videos.
Thanks for watching the video. I am very happy to hear that!
will you watch the whole video even it is soooo long?
I watch these walking tours on a big flat-screen while walking on a walking pad treadmill. This way I feel like I am actually there going for a walk. I live and work in Canada, but my ❤ is in Japan.
Thanks for watching my video. I didn't know there was such a fun way to enjoy walking videos until you told me about it. Thank you!
Such a cool intro trailer 👏 I really like your channel, keep up the great work 😊❤ Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪🙌
I'm always making video intros through trial and error, so I'm glad you like them 😊 Thanks 🇸🇪
will you watch the whole video even it is soooo long?
Nice highlights🎉
Wow, your 24p videos are very nice. 60p videos feel more “real” but I think this is much more enjoyable to watch. Great work.
Thanks for watching the video. I think the 24p video gives more of a dusk to night feel.
will you watch the whole video even it is soooo long?
Many thanks for this amazing video...❤❤❤❤❤...,
Thanks for watching 😊
❤ i couldnt live here 😮 i neeed the sun as much as i need air ❤
Thanks for watching the video 😊
If I were to live, I would rather live in a calm town with a wider view of the sky than a town like Shibuya.
Beautiful video! I’m from the USA and watching your videos gives me dreams to visit Tokyo someday ❤❤. If you don’t mind me asking, what type of camera do you use? Your videos feels like a movie!
Thank you for watching my video! I am very happy that my videos have sparked your interest in Tokyo.
The camera I use is Dji Osmo Pockt 3. No filters are attached to the lens. After shooting, I use video editing software to adjust colors, etc.
Thank you so much for the response! You have such a talent for capturing every moment, even parts going down the simple alleyway felt exciting lol please continue to make more! It’s so nice seeing parts of Tokyo that most foreigners aren’t familiar with the ❤
Thank you, too. Actually, even for me living in Tokyo, most of the roads I walk on each walk are new to me, so I am happy to share my discoveries there with you.
Ghost wire Tokyo vibes. That game was pretty spot on with the vibe I get. Surprisingly I loved that game. Coudnt put it down till I finished.
Thanks for watching the video. I have never played Ghost wire Tokyo, but I have seen it on video. If it had rained during this walk in Shibuya, I would have been even closer to the world of Ghost wire Tokyo.
will you watch the whole video? Do you like the walking tour video?
@@4KWalkTouring I didn’t, sorry. I jumped back into Ghost wire Tokyo. If you had fog in your vid. Would be like for like
Oh minus the special phone booths. You need to play this game.
I just tried it in Gamepass then I couldn’t put it down. Marvellous game. Think GWT 2 is in development.
Hello Mr..your walk in the streets of the wonderful Tokyo specially at night is fantastic....hear the street movement of fars and people talking is amazing.....thank you very much for your wonderful work..Tokyo is spectacular........wagner-riodejaneiro/brazil
Thanks for watching the video 🇧🇷 I am glad you enjoyed the video, as I hope it conveys not only the buildings of Tokyo, but also the conversations and atmosphere of the people in the city.
will you watch the whole video? Do you like the walking tour video?
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! 🌟
Merci encore.
@1:29 that opening looks like the opening scene of a third-person game. I legit thought we were gonna see the back of our protagonist as the camera lowers to the ground level lol.
Thanks for watching the video. It definitely looks like a third-person game. Even more so because it starts at a big intersection in a big city!
Great job!!! What camera did you use?
Thanks for watching the video! The camera is a Dji Osmo Pocket 3 and no filters are used.
Shibuya rocks
Thanks for watching!
I enjoy your videos very much, but the areas I like to see are the backstreets and side alleys. People refer to them sometimes as adult areas or late-night areas. (However, it's the small hidden restaurants and dining spots where friends meet up to enjoy good food). I would never know about them unless I see them in videos on TH-cam or explore the areas myself. When I visit Japan I love to find these little gems to have a nice relaxing dinner or snack and meet interesting people from not only Japan but from other parts of the world as well. If you know of any small restaurants that you have found hidden away I would be excited to learn about the location to visit it myself.
Thanks for watching the video. Since most of the walking in my recent videos is in big cities such as Shinjuku and Shibuya, there may be less footage of quiet back streets and alleys than before. My channel takes walks in order of one station per train line, so you will be walking in cities with many backstreets again in the not-too-distant future.
One of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo is called "LIFE" near Yoyogi Park. It is not very big, but I love their pizza.

I also like a yakitori restaurant called Tsukune.
Yakitori is chicken cut into small pieces and grilled on skewers.

If you are looking for a back-alley hideaway, I recommend a hot pot restaurant called "Shabu-ya". It is located in a renovated old private house and has a nice atmosphere.

There are many LED displays here, which play videos and programs, making the whole of Tokyo look more energetic.
Thanks for watching the video. Shibuya is famous in Japan for its huge monitors. Sometimes when I go to Shibuya, I just can't stop looking at them.
can you provide camera and lenses info that you used in the video please ?
Thanks for watching the video. The camera is a Dji Osmo Pocket 3 and I did not use any filters.
What is your filming equipment?
Video's quality is so good :D
Thanks for watching the video! The camera is a Dji Osmo Pocket 3 and no filters are used.
wow very interesting content friend
Thanks for watching the video. Glad you enjoyed it.

The video is beautiful!
What camera and lens did you use? LUT?
Thanks for watching my video! The camera is a Dji Osmo Pocket 3 and I did not use any filters, etc. I used Premiere Pro to adjust color, brightness, etc. without using any presets such as Lut or Look.
@@tokyotwilightwalk Thanks!
Hello! Sorry to bother you. I recently purchased a POCKET3 and am using the D-LOG M to shoot nighttime streets. Like you, I also use Premiere Pro for editing and color grading, but the final color grading is different from yours. What options have you adjusted using Premiere? How to adjust the specific steps? If you are willing, please guide me, thank you!@@tokyotwilightwalk
@@youtube_newuser In premiere pro, I adjust colors, etc. from scratch without using Lut or Look.
I adjust almost all parameters except for the items in HSL secondary, so it is very difficult to tell you how to adjust them in words.
It took me a month or two of trial and error before I settled on my current color grading.
What I did then was to adjust the color grading in my editing software by displaying the ideal color image side by side with my current video.
I had a videographer I liked, so I would take screenshots of his videos and display those images on premiere pro constantly while I tried to bring the tone of my videos closer to his.
I think this will help me to gradually get closer to a color that I am happy with, although it will not be exactly the same.
Sorry I can't give you an easy way to do this.
@@youtube_newuser By the way, I was recently considering moving to Davinci Resolve and tried to see if I could reproduce the colors I made in Premiere Pro in Davinci.
Partly due to my inexperience, it took me several hours to reproduce even my own creations from scratch.
👏👏
😊😊
Could you tell what camera was used do record it? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for watching the video. My camera is a Dji Osmo Pocket 3. I am shooting without any filters on the lens.
@@tokyotwilightwalk wow, the quality is awesome
What are these small cars?
Thanks for watching the video. I don't know the details of the little car either, but I often see it in Shibuya. Maybe it's the one on the page below.

wow, is that real at 00:00:39, LOL
Thanks for watching the video. I don't know much about the little group of cars either, but I think it is probably the service linked below.

With my 212cm i will be a good movie maker in your country... greetings from Germany 😀
Thanks for watching the video 🇩🇪 with 212cm you can get good footage even on the crowded streets of Shibuya, I envy you!
1:44:01 diginal trees from the future
1:51:46 looks like a laser or a projector 😮
48:31 someone desecrated an innocent mailbox with graffiti. 🤕
Thanks for watching the video!
Shibuya is one of the places in Tokyo where you can see graffiti all over the city.
I'm not interested in Tokyo or Kyoto or Sapporo, I've seen them often. I like rural Japan more, not these huge cities. Villages interest me because I was born in a small village in Kazakhstan, so I don't like mega metropolises
Thanks for watching the video. Actually, I prefer the countryside where there is a lot of nature and peaceful atmosphere to the city where there are many people. Right now I live in Tokyo for work reasons, so I mainly publish urban videos, but my dream is to one day live in the countryside and enjoy walking surrounded by nature.
