A very happy new year to you John. Your videos are just so,so entertaining. Who doesn't just love some foam sniffing !! Yeah baby🤣🤣 Can't wait for your next vid. All the very best mate. Simon.😊😊😊
I will never get 'you tuber' of the year as I'm just a child...no respecting manufacturer will ever take me seriously..but if there was a category for alternative model railway comedy TH-camr...i think I'd win hands down...to be honest my audience is more important to me than accolades
I should have kept some photos of mine as I also distressed the Drs logos as well as adding the Stratford sparrow, the bonnet doors will need to painted black as well, got used on the GE a lot, so sad it was still in working order when it drove its self to be scrapped.
@@MarkHorsley-pk6vj I've ordered the new numbers and nameplates for 37087...so my drunken purchase won't be far out...thanks for the idea....and the gen..I will turn it into a project rather than a bad move on my part...
Look forward to seeing the finished project, one of my favourite tractors, if you get another 038 you could do 038 in that livery with the revised nose ends, which I think I have spares of.
@MarkHorsley-pk6vj thanks for this little project, I don't feel so bad now...at least this idea will actually work within my scale of operations...plus I can document the transformation for others to follow....so thank you 😊
Really enjoyed the video. I had to pause it just a little way in as I was laughing so much I thought my pants would never dry. :) You get my vote for 'You Tuber of the year". Just send the tenner to the usual address.
I like both Accurascale and Bachmann 37s .The Bachmann edges it for me as it is more rugged and I can be a tad heavy handed at times. Its horses for courses . I luv the comedy element in your vids .
Happy New Year to you. My golden rule is the rule of cool so you can run whatever takes your pleasure. It is your layout, your rules. My layout is a heritage layout so anything goes😂
Flap'tastic!! JB.... Foam sniffing turned up to no''11 !!.... Girth on that slab of foam MATRON!!??🎉 I have a Accurascale 37...drs ..very nice model ...but my fave is a Bachmann one in BR green from their last batch of 22 plux DCC sound ...the sound is the best 37 sound I've heard on a model... Yours in a Felcher' Helmet....JB
What is better about the Bachmann 37 is when you have a Delux DCC model, is the tinted effect (very effective irridescent purple pink haze) windscreen. Accurascale does not have that feature. Seen in person such as my Bachmann 37175 in COLAS Rail, it is stunning. Only the delux models have this, not just the nromal DCC sound models; it has to have the SXF designated stock number.
@@waynemiller7382 I'm sure your Bachmann Class 37 is great, as I said it's my own personal view...and I also stated I'm a DC modeller and have no idea of what both Accurascale and Bachmann offer in DCC...i do not model in that power form, if the Bachmann DCC set up is better than Accurascale then fair play.....as long as you enjoy your model that's all that counts...thanks for your comments 😉
Great purchase JB i wish i had ordered class 37s everytime i had a bit too much, As for the DRS Class 37 you purchased rule 1 is always the way to go, i mean do every br steam model collector really know what was running on 3rd of februari 1956?✌️
I have had my body for sale now for 2 months...not a sniff. Never going to be able to afford an Accurascale. Would yer terkke a tenner fer the EWS.....? Thet inta EWS anyway....!
I don't know what that foam is made of but your sure addicted to it think that's why you keep buying from that model company. Great model not got an accurascale yet but 37s are my favorite loco . PS don't be cruel to Dennis you'll get reported to someone you know what you tube is like .
@@peterwoodley7473 I personally think David at Roxley Models is putting something in that foam...its like catnip...plus he keeps sending me extra foam as well...Dennis was just being grumpy...I'm getting him a playmate in time for the next video, hopefully that will sort him out
Beautiful layout. Love the review. Got a couple of Accurascale 37 and they are lovely models.

Happy new year JB, another great video mate, I turned my 038 into 087 black head code panels and named KWVR.
Thank you for this idea.....I may follow this lead and go for 087 as it was still in this livery in 2011...nearly my era...very much appreciated

37038 only looks out of place because you've not done one of your great weathering jobs on it. Happy New Year.
