- This is a little update video on the 2 barn find Trans Ams I helped Joe Jackson save about a month ago and just a little walk around of Classic Pontiac Rescue. They are for sale so make sure to hit him up of you would like to buy one!

Not trying to be a Debbie downer, I have an 2001 WS-6 six speed that’s immaculate with 40,000 miles with rare options. I love Trans Am! However, your daily driver is worth far less than the money to put into it, $8500 maybe. You give a lot of detail other than a side shot or whichever side looks better, no walk around or detailed shots. The one in your showroom is probably $12,500. None are numbers matching cars and they all have rust issues which you fail to show or detail the severity.

My dad had an 80s trans am he painted it and put the bird on it they clean up very well had the. 6.6 shaker hood
The black T.A. in the showroom with the gold bird, being a 78 and all, if u look at the mounts for the side view mirrors, the way they mount to the door. '78 was the only year I'm familiar with where the mirror mount where it connects to the door, it was rectangular, where as in '77 it was oval! Looks to me that the mirror mounts have been swapped out! I certainly wish I hadn't sold the 3 I had! My first car was a 77 301 firebird. Later I got a 79 camaro Z with a built 406 & a th400 with shift kit manual valve body, 3000 stall 373 rear. I could go on and on but she was a tire recycler, and pretty! It was built and drag raced ⅛ mile. I then bought a 78 TA with an earlier 455 and had it for 8 years!

Nice he got some snowflake wheels for it, needs still a lot of work but those cars are just rickety with the rigidity, takes so much work to make them completely solid with the horsepower we make these days.. simple ls swap would probably twist it in half lol.... good video bro....

Why are their so many dumb comments on here about these cars?? I sold my 1977 T top trans am with a 455 engine 4 speed gear vendor overdrive, 4wheel disc brakes EFI to someone in Sweden for$74,500 to someone in America it was yeah duuh only worth $5,000 but this guy had money and wanted this car I miss it but yeah the money was probably once in a lifetime I had $25,000 in it bought it 15 years ago for $4,000 at an Estate sale mint condition Barn find

Joe restores these all the time. So we pulled them to sell them to people to restore them or if they want one restored they can contact Joe and he can do it!

8500? That's pretty steep. I've got a 98 Firebird convertible with 89000 original miles that could use a restoration that I will sell for half that price.
To use that logic, you are comparing a "69 mustang or camaro to an "89 of either. If you can fond a running "69 Camaro/Mustang for the price of a fox body you better grab it

Those cars are shot. Floor pans ,engines etc. Might as well by a clean one ready made for 25 to 30 k. All that time and money to end up costing more than a turn key car.
