    Me and you being teammates instead of trying to crash each other off, what is this madness

    Im on youtube loooool!! You did a great job, came in and just smashed everyone else 😂
    Must admit, racing at Rye House can be quite frustrating sometimes especially with so many drivers with no awareness of their surroundings, and then of course u got the back markers

    Slightly disappointed to not see any JB vs Aldas brutality...but this was a supreme performance. Those consecutive lap records earned the Aldas with JB team name, to be fair 😄

      I’ve got plenty of that stored up ready to go live, but more on that soon 👀

    Well done for the record. Great job , can I ask you what is your personal weight?

    • @CarsWithJB
      @CarsWithJB  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On this day Aldas weighed 62kg, running a 41.2, I weighed 89kg, running a 41.6 🤙🏽

      @@CarsWithJB I do not believe that you are with a personal weight of 89 kg and your time is 41.6 I think you are lying.... if you are 89 kg and make a lap for 41.6 I will pay you £ 100 immediately .... tomorrow will be at Rye house

      @@petkomitsarkin5868 I’ll happily get some scales out for my next karting video to prove it 😅 with my karting gear I weigh over 90kg, and I’m entered into the heavyweight classes of club100 and the buckmore pro series (both are for people over 85kg). Here’s the event results, you can see when I got into the kart based on the slow laptime for pitting, and you can see the laps I did: results.alphatiming.co.uk/rye/2022/6511/s/12756/

      @@CarsWithJB :D :D :D I am talking for Rye house.!!!
      Weigh over 90kg for 41.6 IMPOSSIBLE!!!! you are talking bulshit .. your friend is 62 kg and his time is 41.2
      ( 25 kg for 0.400 less do you understand what kind of bulshit you are talking )
      I can take a scales tomorrow welcome to Rye house if you make 41.6 and you are 90 KG you have my £ 100 immediately I am open to bet more money.

    Do you guys prefer to sit with the pedals further away or closer? And what hook do you put your seat on? So hard to find the perfect seating!

    • @CarsWithJB
      @CarsWithJB  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question - I’m 6ft and go 2 from the back with no pedal extensions, that’s just how I feel comfortable - I like to be close to the wheel but still have good distance to the pedals!

    Hi JB. What’s your lap record? Would be interested to know as I’m your weight and my record is 42.6 atm

      Apologies if I missed this in the video.

    • @CarsWithJB
      @CarsWithJB  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheCalvinnnnn I’m a 41.630, weigh 89kgs, track temp was perfect and the conditions were nice and dry! Last time I went it had been raining beforehand so was a bit less traction and I ran a 43.2 (I felt my kart was a bit slower than the one Aldas and I drove in this video!)

    • @TheCalvinnnnn
      @TheCalvinnnnn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CarsWithJB nice. That’s a good time! And yes I feel you with the slow karts it’s very frustrating. Any tips round here? (For braking ideally). Thanks for getting back to me.

    • @CarsWithJB
      @CarsWithJB  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheCalvinnnnn being heavy it’s super important to focus on exits! Cutting the kerbs as much as possible through t2, t3 and the final corner is key, and a lot of time can be made on hairpin 1 and 2 if you get the braking and lines correct - be super wide braking then as tight to the sausage kerbs as poss through hairpin 1, then keep left and try to use all of the road through hairpin 2 so you maintain momentum and don’t slide. Basically just need to keep the kart from sliding as much as possible!

      @@CarsWithJB thanks mate! I’ll give that advice a try next time I’m going round! 👍🏽

    Hi what turn do you use the break and what turns do you just ease off the accelerator?

    • @CarsWithJB
      @CarsWithJB  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Slight brake hairpin 1, brake hairpin 2, brake on the right hander after pylon, and maybe a tap going into the final corner if you’re coming in too hot and need to get the right line for exit!

    • @jacksonnavin9923
      @jacksonnavin9923 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much!!! Also what about the first big corner right at the start?! Do you ease off the accelerator at all around that big corner?
