Great message this morning. My brother-in-law and I put in for the NM Elk draw and were not successful. So, I will be experiencing elk season through you and your dad. Plus, the Born and Raised boys. Look forward to the upcoming videos. Say hi to the family for me. God Bless you, my friend. Brian R
Good morning Slade , first and foremost thank you and glad to see you , hope you and the family are doing well. I’m doing well relatively speaking, looking forward to this years elk hunt , I miss the regular daily videos, but I absolutely understand that this channel was really put together for you and your family , we are just lucky to be brought along when you wants us to. Till the next one 🙏🏻 have a great day.
Hi Slade, I was just curious to know if your super talented Aiden plans to transfer to the Mississippi State baseball team in the near future? Your family is very nice!
They can speak their peace but ours don't matter according to them. Slade how do y'all go about getting tags draw or private I went to Colorado in 91 and u could by tags elk mule deer over the counter been wanting to go back just wondering where would be a good place to start may be call a outfitter don't know when we hunted near craig col. At black mountain game was everywhere there then me and a friend hunted there we came back to ga. Empty handed I know things have changed now due to draw I was thinking about calling some outfitters in colo and new mexico
HEY HEY! We hunted for years in meeker Colorado and in silverton Colorado and now we get land owner tags in New Mexico. It’s gotten so hard to find a spot because it’s so expensive
Just found your channel. I’m right across the river from you. This will be my 8th year Colorado. I’m 43 and shoulders are starting to give me problems. I got a new string on my bow so shooting extra to make sure it’s broke in. I love knives too and thinking about getting another one. For skinning and gutting. I agree getting an elk out is tough and guys from the south don’t understand how much work it takes. I got one season before last and it about killed me. Only 2 miles deep but I was solo. Dealing the the legs. Didn’t have a tree to tie them up and I struggled. Didn’t bring enough water to clean the blades or for me. Learned some lessons and made it out alive
@@ET-sp6qm this is great to hear that you’ve been elk hunting for almost ten years. I know the feeling with the shoulders and the dang mountains can sure beat you up

Slade, enjoyed the video. About 2 1/2 minutes into the video, what was that black thing that crossed the road behind you? K
Are you serious??? Never saw it!!! Wonder if it was a snake😂😂
I live in Florida so immediately thought of alligator (it did move like an alligator). Do you have alligators where you live? K 0:04 0:04
