QUEENS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE BASEBALL VISIT‼️⚾️
no not every one hunts over corn, and you don't need to spend $500 on a crossbow. I bought a walmart budget $150.00 with a $87.00 speed ring bought at walmart also and kill deer all day long. do it all the time in WV.
With your hat on I thought you were Dash Mihok from the 2025 film "Armor". lol
So, which bow is for what type of customer??? Why spend $2,000 more for top-of-the-line? Some speed gain but what benefit is that? Can I take deer farther as I go up in price? Do they get more accurate as price increases? Will the more expensive bows last much longer? I just watched this entire video and none of the questions above were answered. What situations would $500 be enough and why what would require me to spend $2,500?
Thanks for watching it all. Spend what you can afford. Just that simple
VERY GOOD CHOICE ...SIMPLICITY AND QUALITY BOTH AT ALL PRICE POINTS FOR THE PRODUCT
We agree!
I’ll use the pine tar
What a F’in waste of $. After dropping 1400$ on a phase 4 this past March (n that was After a 10% drop bc was ‘23 model) it was mission impossible to find a sling that fit this 33” (40” cam end to end- even w 1 co that advertised it would fit). Then I’m basically at mathews mercy to buy a (get this) $100 sling that’s Actually a string Protector n doesn’t have a sling so I can ride/ walk into field !? Seriously?! So the company advise me to buy this SCS kit - 2 small plastic mini ‘versa buttons’ n a bs haul rope for F’in $60! So 160 + tax n shipping n Still NO way to ride a bike w it over shoulder (naturally il rig it up but Shouldn’t have to). They added, but the sling too. F them. I’m Done w that company. What a Horrible experience over what should b a 35-60$ piece of padded gear-a Sling. Can’t wait to see them n other companies that sell slings/gear at the nxt Harrisburg Pa expo n voice my complete disdain for what amounts to nothing short of ripping off their customers.
Goodness….. guess some folks just like to complain
Really nice work!!!
He looks like he’s pushing a little bit vs uncoiling. You can see his weight get forward too soon.
thank you for your advice
You should take the family to southern Arizona amazing history of American West!
Is there a reason your son does not go with you and your father?
Can u help with info for teacherman I’ve tried messaging him several time on TH-cam and x and Facebook and no reply yet?
I’ve tried several messages on X Facebook and TH-cam and never have got reply from teacherman
Amen, I need to hear your prayer!! Thank you!!
Your very welcone
What are the numbers on the bottom of the limbs designate?
Wow that Barnett is high there😂😂 even couple years ago😂😂
Ravin / centerpoint have fantastic customer service and will sent parts no questions if under warranty. Personally though.. I'm old school and still like my Excalibur the best!
I'd love to get one which shoots ball bearings too
Shot my mathews sub 1 xr 100 yrds hit 4 inch group
Great crossbow
Thanks for the straight talk.
ALWAYS
Great stuff! Thank you!
I have had them all, started out with a tenpoint went to ravin, dumb move and have had scorpyds, killer instinct swat x1 and acquired a tenpoint 505 last year. Nothing even comes close to this magnum bow. This thing is shooting a 405 grain arrow with a 100 grain tru glo titanium x 4 blade, deadly out to 80 yds. The farthest I shoot deer is 60 yards because it shoots 505 grain arrow at 475 fps. Killer bow!!
Depending on what ya want to spend. Tenpoint is the most dependable. My first tenpoint xbow was a titan extreme over 10 years ago, loved the bow shot a dandy with it at 50 yds. I sold that bow to a gentlemen that had a bad shoulder. We'll this is 2024 and he shot a nice buck with it last year, I was very happy to hear that the bow still around. Wicked ridge is made by tenpoint, before I owned the titan extreme I owned that, I gave that to my son in law, he is still hunting with that bow, that was the invader. What I am saying is. In my gun room I have a killer instinct swat xp, I love this bow small acurate and fast, problem, I have replaced limbs. I also have a scorpyd deathstalker and it shoots very well, same issue limbs. I now hunt with the tenpoint nitro 505, it has the cooking and decoding devise built into handle. I can cook and decock up in stand hence that really helps limb life on bow. Ravin makes a good bow but same issue I get to liking it and 2 years in limb issues. Tenpoint is the best out there in my opinion they are salty that is why they offer the Wicked ridge line. I hope this helps.
Thank you so much!
Good info. I keep a mini target and an arrow with target tip in my truck. As soon as I walk back I grab them and decock that way. 1 time while visiting my in-laws I borrowed my FIL Mission crossbow. After an unsuccessful hunt I went to decock by hand and somehow forgot to remove the arrow first! Could've gone really bad
Can you help me with contact info for Richard ?
Unfortunately I can not. Message him through Twitter on his DM’s he will reply
@@followthefanchers I’ve tried email thru twitter and haven’t gotten a reply
3:19 strictly speaking great optics are not needed for most things, ok im not a crossbow guy but i would like to get into them without spending a car payment on one, i am however into astrophotography which has taught me a lot about optics, the ting is you guys are using yours for spotting a thing and pointing your weapon at it so most optical flaws in cheap glass are pretty much irrelevant to you inless its the REALLY cheap atuff that didnt even use optical glass. I think the most important thing for you guys is going to be depth of field and the built in crosshairs/ their adjustments. Heck im sure if i were to plug my astro camera into a hogh end rifle/bow scope it would have many of the same flaws cheap to medium priced refractor teleacopes have.
I took my zebra strings off when i bought my V3X new and put Gas strings on. My zebra strings are back ups i have the SAS system to change in the field. My bow stays in time just imo. That is why mathews now has match strings on there bows. They knew zebra strings were bad
Not true, zebra strings ARE MATHEWS strings. Some people do not know that, and mathews has been using them for years and years because they are great! They upgraded the strings because technology allowed it. Why would you put strings in a bow from another company that has nooooooo resting behind them versus the thousands of hours of test that mathews has behind their strings??????
What beautiful country out there, nice cabin too.. I would love to live somewhere like that.. good luck guys and have a safe trip home 👍🏼✌🏼
Beautiful for sure
What is the name of your shop?
I own both a TenPoint Vapor RS470 and a Mission Sub 1 XR. Those Mission crossbows are just a different breed as far as quality of parts goes. Unreal how well they are made
No doubt about it
What are your views on Excaliber crossbows?
Hard to dang cock to me
@@followthefanchers I own the Bulldog 440 with ext crank. Looking at the Mission Sub 1 XR or Excalibur Rev X for my wife. Which would you get and why? Pros and cons on each.
Hey brother! So glad that y'all had a good time. And yes y'all did spoil us with those big Elk. The most important thing is spending time with your dad in the woods making awesome memories. I'm looking forward to seeing more trips with your family and deer hunting with your son. Y'all have a safe deer season and fill that freezer. God bless brother 🙏🏻.
God bless you as well and look forward to bringing you guys more
Congrats on another awesome adventure!Someone accepted Christ and that’s a win brother💪
That’s so so true! We will never forget it
Tough to do all that and not be able to harvest some meat, but it’s not about the kill. The memories will make you smile in time. I’d love to know the cost of a trip like this and what it takes to pull off a hunt like this.
Cost is minimal, only because we have done it so long and already have so much gear if that makes sense. A fellow can take 1,500$ and have a great hunt. Save all year for it and it’s not bad
I enjoyed your hunt out west! I have been out there and not got an animal also. The hunt and the experience is what it is all about! Looking forward to next years hunt with you all! Take Care!
Thanks for always watching Mr John Keith
JESUS 1 SATAN 0 GREAT ELK HUNT 2024 GOD BLESS YOU SLADE
Glad yall had a safe trip god bless
We had a great time! God is good
Getting an elk is just a bonus. The time you get to spend hunting with your dad is the most important part. Those memories will last you a lifetime. In a few weeks I'll be headed to my mom and dads in Grayson, KY to bow hunt whitetails with my 83-year-old dad. It's something I look forward to every year. Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us. God bless you and the family. Your Freind, Brian Runyon.
Wow!!!! Please please keep me posted! Hope y’all have a blast
Memories are good, time with your Dad is always good.
That’s all that mayters
I was laughing so hard at the hand while bugling.. 🤣
Beautiful country. Thanks for sharing
We love it
Keep them videos coming!
Man that’s awesome. I’ve seen a few elk up close in Maggie Valley NC and they are majestic, but I bet the adrenaline rush has to be crazy when they get close enough to shoot. Thanks for sharing your hunt with us. I started watching your family when you helped David Ellis with the hogs. Can’t wait to see the excitement of you and your dad with a Mountain Dew after a kill
Nothing like the Rocky Mountains and bugling bulls
fun to see that meadow again and the wallows you hunt over. I remember that from last years successful season. Man... that has to get you all excited waiting that long watching that guy. Thanks for giving us a look at him. by now the hunt is over for but for me watching at home.. you are still out there in the middle of it.
That meadow and those lower wallows have been special to me for sure
👍
There absolutely no customer service for Killer Instinct

Hey brother! Keep the videos going. We really enjoy them and most of all the quality time you spend with your dad. May God continue to bless y'all brother.
What’s going on Terry? So glad you enjoy and thanks for the comments
Good morning brother, I can't wait to see the next video, I've been watching your videos for a while now, the good thing about it is, y'all really feel like family to me and I live in the long Star state of Texas. You and your dad are wonderful men of God that I can feel the spirit in y'all every time I watch your videos.I really enjoy the story times and your dad witnessing to the man on y'all's trip. You are spreading the message and I'm passing it on too others, thank you so much. I really appreciate you. Y'all have an amazing trip 🙏🏻.
@@Terry-di9qs WOW! What a humbling comment and thanks for the support
Thanks for sharing brother, so close but yet so far. Good to both you , stay safe
Noooooooo doubt about it
Love that country. What a beautiful day! Great vid, thank you.
Hard to beat the Rocky Mountains
That's the way the hunts go though....I'm still learning
That’s why they call it hunting rite?
