So are they easy to figure out if you never saw or handled one before jw I'm from Massachusetts in the city but have always had a drawing to hunting but I want to waste money on an expensive piece of equipment and potentially dangerous...I'm not trying to be arrogant but I consider myself above average intelligence in many ways but still I'm not oblivious to how some things might not come natural to me so I guess I'm saying can someone who has literally zero experience with these theoretically set one up effortlessly. When my wife and I were walking more there was a trail surrounding a nearby park. It was only 6 miles and that was enough for me. With the hills, we definitely weren't doing 15 min miles either. to double that distance would be a heck of a challenge. I have a lot of respect for your ability and physical endurance to be able to pull this one off. I give you a huge amount of credit just getting beyond the 6 mile range.

i love my mission xr 1 / you are right. I dont get mine out much but there is nothing like setting it up in a tripod and doing some target practice. I practice at 80 yards. its unbelievable how accurate it is. yes a crossbow makes some noise but its also extremely fast and accurate. im gonna need you to come to my house and pull the arrow out of my target if Im that close when I shoot it lol set up right the mission is the most accurate piece of equipment I have ever shot. riffles included in that. I have the the mission sub 1 also. I suggest that model for the beginners, not quit as violent

How are the yella flies this year Slade?

In Louisiana on public land it is illegal to transport a cocked crossbow or have a cocked crossbow in your possession while in a boat that is under power, on an atv/utv, or in or on a vehicle. It doesn't matter if a bolt is in it or not. All the crossgunners here carry a decocking bolt that they shoot into the ground or target before getting onto or in their mode of transportation.
