2004 IC CE200 T444E back seat ride "Bus 93"

- Like and Subscribe. This is the only CE200 T444E we have. The T444E in this model CE series sounds like the VT365 and the Maxxforce 7 Powertrain put together. It has a delayed takeoff and lag like the VT365 at times but has instant throttle response and acceleration like the Maxxforce 7 at times. Kind of a Mix up of both LOL.

Cool this is a wheelchair bus by the looks of it. Also you can't go wrong with the 7.3L T444E under the hood.
More memories of when I rode some 2002, 2003 and 2004 ic CEs in Virginia as sub buses. Nice sounds.
when I was a kid my bus was powered by the T444E and I always loved the takeoff sound and for years couldn't find a good video of till now very great to listen to!

Zerious Cunningham It’s similar, same engine and transmission. My 12 doesn’t have a wheelchair lift though.
@@automotivesboy9904 It almost sounds like the 7.3L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel.
I remember that Maxxforce 7s would lag a lot so you’d have to floor them no matter what. I specifically remember one bus I rode as a sub regularly in Virginia (bus 104 75 passenger ic CE with under storage, air brakes and electric doors and stop sign.) it had good pick up and throttle response and of course a rear axle hum noise.

Around 250,000 but it has had a engine replacement. I don't quiet remember what mileage we put it in at.
