Hey, nice helpful video, thanks. A couple of questions for you - how has this aerator worked out for you? I watched the video and bought almost the exact same one. I have found it to be a bear to hook up by myself - pretty much have to be exactly lined up both back distance and side to side. Got any suggestions or remedys? I am thinking i might try to put a trailer coupler on mine. I can not weld so i will kind of bolt it to the existing connector. Should help with the occasional very short backup i have cencountered. Also will drop the need for an additional type connector. Any other thoughts / updates? Thanks.

Great question - easy fix. I pull the pins on the lift bars on back to where they will both widen or close. Put a drawbar in your holes and it will allow the drawbar to move from left to right. Ease tractor back and adjust right to left to fit the middle hole on drawbar. If you have telescoping lifter arms you can connect drawbar to aerator first and then put one end in lift bar hole then muscle the over on. I have put handle on top of cinder block to allow easy backing up also. I hope this helps. I still love this thing. I’ve started overseeding my pastures then running aerator over after seeding. Pushes seed to ground and first rain the seeds fall in holes and I have much more success. I hope this helps. Have a great week

Ha! Great answer thank you. I just got my aerator and have only hooked it to my side by side. First connect not too bad - no water. Second - w water - what a bear. I did put a fiber glass rod on my hitch and one in the ground - by the connect rod - helps but not great. I like using the utv - faster. Was going g around some cow patties in the field. Decided too much effort to avoid. Started running over patties - once stopped - what a mess on the back of the utv. A few things to learn. Thanks

can you cast grass seeds after doing this

Absolutely. I would even recommend casting them before. Before or after is fine, try to time it just before a rain and the rain water will wash the seeds down into the holes for faster germination. I hope this helps. Thanks for the response.
