Bure Valley Railway April 2019

Bure Valley Railway is a narrow gauge railway (15 inch gauge) that operates steam locomotives on a 9 mile route between Aylsham and Wroxham in Norfolk. It links up with the main line at Wroxham. Wroxham is also a centre for exploring the Norfolk Broads by boat. At Aylsham, there is very pleasant café and a shop stocking many model railway items. The railway and the shop are well worth a visit.

Apparently, they are some of the largest and most powerful 15 inch gauge steam locomotives ever built. Having ridden on the railway, they can certainly move!
