Good one about the speaker to close to the control housing i will move it lol the detector plays up in general but not deep mode maybe that's why ..do not give away too many secrets lol was that a pam8406 digital chip i used one of them for my little booster . .love the adjustment on the pot i was looking at something similar with a variable capacitor .lm386 is a crappy old school chip.
@@DetectorMods they are noisy, the boards i got came from mouser in the usa i don't have any problem compared to the lucky lark its crappy sound i have one in a power supply i tried the china pams and found problems like with most things made cheapo.
@@DetectorMods lm4698 i think from memory they use them in mobile phones so they must be good but only 1 watt @5 VOLTS.there is others around i mostly use philips dh 50 under chin phones with great success no amp straight into the detector.. only run a mylar mini speaker and amp when someone is with me.keep up the good videos .
I heard some new mods were coming shortly woody to the 45, Something to do with new chips? Is that still planned for this year, Got all current mods and looking to be a first for your new mod when it comes out.
Just finished the test detectors about an hour ago, they are better than anything that i have tested before, ultra quiet, accurate ground balance and adjustable for tiny gold or big deep nuggets. I tested the modules in a GP3000 as well, looks like i will out going over old ground very soon.

As people should realise that class D Pam chips are noise makers, too hard to shield and thus the ones i had went into the bin.

@@alanhughes1262 the chip that ML use in their batteries is a good one , it is differential input and greatly removes stay noise. LM4898
