I tried freezing milk once as a little kid. I never shook it or drank it after thawing. It separated and looked nasty, so I poured it out and never revisited that idea. Thanks for posting this. I'm going to have to give it a try now.
Yeah it works surprisingly well-- and perhaps it works better for homogenized chocolate milk (which almost isn't worth freezing, in my opinion).. Might have to freeze some PCF and see how it fares after a couple weeks-- I bet it would still be great, albeit not as good as fresh of course. I was a bit ashamed to have choc milk in my freezer for so long-- I had been meaning to do an episode for a while, and time just got away from me.😅

i have been tallying up how many chocolate milks i have had just this year alone, im at 226, each being 16oz each, drinking chocolate milk isnt a hobby, its a lifestyle
Wow- that's a big number! Are you trying all different kinds, or sticking with a few of your favorites? You're on pace for almost 1,000 in 2023 😅-- totally agree that it's a lifestyle, and I'm glad there are others out there who understand!
Awesome video, Brother. I freeze milk all the time, Chocolate and White. No change in taste or nutrition up to about three months. After that, as you found out, it starts to deteriorate.
As far as safety goes, perfectly safe any length of time in the freezer. Just consume after thawing.

Oh nice! I'm glad you've got some solid experience with it. I'll definitely be doing this in the future to 'flatten the curve' of my chocolate milk binging-- I guess to spread out my consumption (and enjoyment) over a longer period of time. I meant to get to this stuff in my freezer a long time ago, but it kinda got away from me here but made for a (hopefully) interesting experiment. Thanks for the tips and for checking out the video👍

Chocolate water? Does this really exist? Would be out of scope for my purposes, since the 'milk' part of chocolate milk is key. But I suppose it would fare better in the freezer. Also- where have you seen carbonated chocolate milk?

Great suggestion, and I have put some thought into it and the main reason I haven't is that I would hate to take any potential money away from much more worthy causes (mutual aid, go fund me for medical bills, charitable orgs, etc.) and I would feel some level of guilt for using it for a relatively frivolous endeavor. However, I do get that people pay for entertainment (or the sustainment of it), and I'm truly honored by the suggestion and generosity in your comment! In a perfect world, I'd be able to travel full-time and review chocolate milk all over the world! I very much appreciate the comment, it's not something that a ton of other people have mentioned, but I'll certainly keep it in mind. Thanks again-- lots more stuff on the way!🤜🤛
