    Hey folks! Here is my review and analysis of the Elecaenta 120 watt solar panel. I've gotta say, out of most of the panels I have and reviewed, this was the most impressive I have tested to date. The build quality is great, and the output I got from this panel was one of the best I have seen yet. I can highly recommend this panel for anyone looking to move to the solar power and off grid area.
    Make sure you check out my main outdoors channel where I use all of these products and test in real life scenarios!

    I really appreciate your video explaining which cables and connectors to plug into my new Bluetti EB3A. Am new to this endeavor and am happy I now know how to connect my Elecaenta 120W panels to the generator. I’m propping the panels on upside down worn out patio chair frames to keep the panels out of the grass. I just need to go out occasionally and reposition the orientation as the light exposure changes. Thank you, again, for your time and content. If the SHTF, this is one less stressor I’ll have!

    I had one delivered two days ago, 4th November, a bright sunny day with little broken cloud, in the UK. At 11:00am - 11:30am I was getting 91 watts into my Bluetti EB55. Thats good enough for me. A surprisingly good build and spec.

      Hi I live in the UK and thinking of buying this solar panel. I'm new to battery banks etc, at that rate of charge would it take around 6 hours to charge your EB55? Have you charged any larger capacity devices? Thank you.

    My experience has been to cut the stated output of any given portable solar panel by 40%-50%. I have tried 4 different brands of various wattage output and the % I mention are spot on.

    How durable is it after laying out in the sun for several hours? I know that they get as hot as 165° plus being out in the sun how does materials hold up? I have one on order for my Bluetti EB3A .Thanks for sharing. 🦅😀

      After time, they will wear out if you are not careful. The UV rays and dragging the panel around on the ground will add some wear and tear to these. If you’re careful with them they should last a pretty good while though.

    Hello, I have both this panel and their smaller sibling the 30 watt elecaenta panel. Both are amazing. Would you please consider a review of their 30 watt dynamo? There isn't one youtube video reviewing the 30 watt elecaenta.. pretty please....

    Thanks for video. How is it possible that this solar panel has more yield (95 watts) when flat on the ground than at an angle towards the sun? No criticism, just curious about your opinion.

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No worries! It’s all about where the sun is on the horizon, time of day, etc….this test was closer to noon I believe when the sun was more directly overhead than at an angle of it would have been 9:00am or 4:00pm. You’re always having to adjust the angle of these to get the best output with them.

    Why didn't you test both into the same generator? They likely have different charger controllers. Not quite an equal test.

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Should be close enough to gauge the solar panel output. Fair test in my opinion. The 2nd battery can accept more solar input than the first battery.

    • @edgarguzman6755

      Connectors don't make a difference at these low voltages/ wattage. Wire thickness is more of an impact, and even then only when you are trying to daisy-chain panels in series for high amperage. Most folks don't do daisy-chain enough panels to be of concern to connectors due to fact that most solar chargers only accept input of 100w to 300w with any excess either being ignored by the solar generator OR frying the batteries.

    The amount of power the "Generator" will pull goes down as it's battery get closer to 100%

  • @chrissinclair8705
    @chrissinclair8705 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The reason the watts went down is as the panels heat up it loses efficiency.
