Bears in a tree at a Private School

A mother bear with two yearling cubs raided a dumpster at a private school where I work as a Safety and Security Officer. I was assigned the task of watching them and keeping people away from the area. A bear biologist from the state of CT recommended I "haze" them to make them less comfortable there. About an hour later they came down and went right for the dumpster again. One more blast of the air horn and they left campus.
