Manatee Habitat Destruction In Jupiter Florida

Speeding boats and beach construction projects in Jupiter Florida are destroying the habitat for the threatened manatee and sea turtles. Boats are running into and killing the manatee and construction companies are building on beaches destroying the future nesting site for the sea turtles. These activities are in violation of the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA) but the Florida state government is ignoring the violations. We are threatening to sue the US Fish and Wildlife Service if they don't come to Jupiter Florida to enforce the federal wildlife laws. This move documents the violations of the ESA in living color and also discusses the exact laws that are being broken. We also show which state agencies have been notified of the ESA violations and what the public can do to protects Florida's endangered species when the State and Federal Government fails to do so.
