Nice! I painted mine a bit different. I coated with NATO Black first, then sprayed flat white on many areas, then a light coat of German gray. Yours was definitely a hands on approach and I always stop breathing with deckals lol
Thank you for a very enjoyable video, this and the previous review video. Just like to make a suggestion, an alternative to Tamiya putty. I have found that UV resin can work very well to fill gaps. It is a very thick clear liquid that cures crystal clear within seconds of applying UV light and does not cure until you want it too . It is self leveling so easy to fill holes precisely, sands very easily and can paint over. It is brilliant for headlights and other glass parts. It does smell but no worse than Tamiya putty. Not for all applications but where it works it works well. Also good for gluing clear parts. As lso good for making small puddles of water in a diorama. I bought some a few years ago to experiment with and when used within it's limitations has been worth the relatively low cost including UV light. Cheers mate!
@@andrewsartscalemodels once you try the UV resin you will find it useful for other stuff like some repairs around the house. also to clarify, Tamiya make a UV putty which is expensive and yellow not self levelling, not worth the money. You will find it on eBay as well as a cheap UV torch, don't use sunlight. I have used this on photo etch parts to give some body, use as glue for metal and resin parts. Also great for parts that are tricky to line up, situations where CA may grab too soon or other glues can take a while to grab. Only major fail so far, using it to model water 5mm deep, wouldn't cure. BTW I am a fellow Victorian self exiled in Thailand.
@@matthewrodemannn623 glad you liked the video mate. I had a ball with this little kit. If you subscribe please hit the bell icon as I do monthly scale model give aways. 👍
@@andrewsartscalemodels I just recently built an ol' school 1:48 Bandai kit of the same...it too had the similar figures on the box art...but the enclosed figures were not the same. I had to do some modifications to make them look right.
Great build and weathering masterclass 👍
This turned out really well. A few choices I wouldnt make but a great finish.
Very nice work with the weathering

This turned out awesome! I just picked up this kit and I was wondering if it came with decals for the invasion of Poland.

Andrews Art & Scale models That’s exactly what I was looking for, Cheers man.
Pretty cool vid...nice work on model. Did the Tamiya kit come with the crew figures as shown on the box art?
Yep. They don't look to bad, just decided against using them.

@@redmist1122 that is annoying. Don't recall every having the same issue, but I have seen some horrid figures in some older sets.
arethe paints you used Tamiya Acrylic ones ?
Yep usually. I should call them out in thw video 👍
@@andrewsartscalemodels i saw the numbers in the video but never used Tamiya paints so wasnt sure I have this tank to build as well :)
@@musicmate70 They are ok. I also like model air. 👍 Mr hobby metallics are great as well.
Where do you buy your kits from?
From all over at the moment mate. Why do you ask?
Because I’ve been getting old tamiya kits off eBay and was just curious where you got yours from
@@joshmate15g95 some off eBay, some from retailers, depends. Always keeping an eye out for a good price 😁
