DFW Fiber Fest Vlog Video 2022

- I had a great time at the DFW Fiber Festival! There was so much yarn and so many inspiring colors!
Definitely saw a lot of fingering yarn or size 1/ size 2 weight yarn that I'm not generally using. I think most of this yarn was intended for clothing. But I was still able to find a few hanks that I couldn't say no to.
This event would have been so much more fun to go to with a yarny friend. Maybe next year I will be ready well enough in advance to invite someone to come along with me.
I brought my son Davin to the event and he was pretty well over it as soon as we walked in. He was still quite the trooper pointing out fibers and colors he was drawn to.

Omg how fun and delight to see all that yummy yarn I don't know how you kept your self all together. Thank you for sharing this beautiful event I wish we had event such as this ❤️ in Staten Island I totally felt like I was there the only down part was not able to feel all that yummy texture and buy some of the yarn I could picture my self making a project with it🙈😊

I was there too!!! It was my first Fiber Fest. The amount of gorgeous yarn was completely overwhelming. 🤯 I ended up buying a Punch Needle kit and am now obsessed. 🤣
Ok, now I have to research a Punch Needle. 😂😂 How Awesome! I am loving hearing all the crocheters in the area! Fiber Fest was a lot of fun. Next time I might leave my son at home though. 😂😂

Oh my goodness I am SO jealous! That hall must have smelled amazing with all that gorgeous yarn. 🥰 I wish I was well enough to go even to my LYS but sadly, I'm stuck with the online experience - though I shouldn't complain, with stores like The Wool Warehouse, I can get most things - and there are so many smaller yarny stores, sellers on Etsy and so on.
Also, I FEEL YOUR PAIN with capturing the sparkle! LOL Plus, I love that your son has joined you and is enjoying the yarn. I admit, I cackled at "Your face, not so much." 😂 Is he into crochet too?

I saw you go by recording and knew you had to have a nice channel with a microphone like that. So cool to watch the show from your perspective. You’re local to DFW? I’m into the idea of a crochet meet up, too.
