This sounds so fun. I wish I could join you but living in Florida i don’t see that happening but I look forward to seeing your posts about the yarn crawl. I will be attending my first fiber fest this weekend the Georgia Mountain Needle Arts Festival I’m super excited to see what yarn is there and see what I bring home.
I'm so excited to see the Yarn Crawl!! As you know, I'm disabled and wouldn't be able to do one of these - especially because I can't sit in a car for that long with my leg/foot hanging down... I'm going to live vicariously through you!!!
One thing that I learned about knitters versus crocheters, is that knitters are more likely to be “yarn snobs” than crocheters. Some of this is because knitting makes a very different fabric then crochet, so you get more stitch definition depending on the yarn. I'm curious if there's a difference between the types of yarn that crocheters buy versus knitters. In my friend group of crafters, I do see a difference, but I don't know if that's accurate as to the rest of the world.
Don't pressure yourself to finish Oogie Boogie. He'll get done when you're able to get to him.

Believe it or not I would have made a map myself before I had surgery. But I have all my projects in different bags and in my book of questions I have my different project and all the information in that, so I am very much like you.
