Stopping dog walkers on the moors but still 1000s cramming on to trains in London and 1000s still coming through our airports unchecked. Utter bollocks. Should have been much stricter back in January, we just invited it in.

The dog walkers weren't a problem but the airports! The airports are worryingly irresponsible.

Get the public to stay at home so we starve the virus but still have our borders wide open especially our airports which means a constant supply of virus riddled people contaminating the British public but hay ho were following medical advice. Question how meny have to die before the politicians have to take responsibility for there insane policy

Their exit strategy is obviously to cause the biggest recession in the history of the country so they can't pay the police officers any more to act as prison wardens for the children and young people. The UK economy will shrink by 15 % over the next quarter and that will put us on par with Venezuela over the year, so we're well on our way now.

A study published in The Lancet on Monday estimates that the corona death rate will be less than one per cent at 0.66% and the majority of fatalities are adults aged 80 or older. The risk only spikes above age 60, more so for men than women and more so for smokers. The UK government has also now downgraded corona/covid because of 'low overall mortality rates'. Young people are not at serious risk from this virus, and it's not fair to keep them in prison.

Point of this video is to show the public that the UK is not only crazy one trying a novel experiment on its population to cope with virus differently compared to most of the other countries including some Asian countries like South Korea with similar size of the population while being much closer to China, yet with much lower percentages of dead and infected. Considering that Asian countries experienced virus outbreaks before, it's questionable why we don't follow countries with experience and instead devising our own pandemic response plan based on some scientific theories that were never applied in the real world. Well, British people can rest assured that even when this idea of ignoring the use of face masks would not work very well and the UK ends like next Italy, they are part of a scientific experiment from which future generations will learn by avoiding this approach by a mile...

The economy collapse and the situation will be worse if people riot because key workers will be more scared to go to work. Therefore, NHS staff won't be able to save who can be saved and shop workers won't be there to provide the essentials and then a lot of looting will happen, followed by neighbour turning against neighbour in the hunt for food. The army won't be able to control the whole of the U.K even with the reserves. Those that do riot will most likely be those who refuse to stay home now and will spread the virus faster. Some know what will be the worse case scenario but many are unprepared for it. Even if the army does manage to control a worse case situation a lot more people will die unnecessarily and not just from the virus. Check points could be introduced to maintain law and order and when this pandemic is over life will never be the same again. So STAY HOME if you can and have an action plan ready just in case you need to barricade yourself in your home. Hopefully you won't need to and hopefully things will get better. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Some people who follow Revelations "Nation will rise against nation" (I can't remember which verse) think it refers to a global military war. I think it refers to the pandemic and riots. The U.K government has already mentioned that they have declared war on Covid 19 and have begun a war time strategy to deal with it including key workers needing to carry paperwork to be able to travel to their work place, a form of rationing in supermarkets, companies making products like ventilators and masks that don't normally make them. A similar thing happened during the second world war. THIS IS SERIOUS FOLKS! EVERYONE NEEDS TO PULL TOGETHER AND LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. PANIC BUYING, HOARDING WHAT YOU DON'T NEED AND RIOTING IS NOT THE ANSWER! When this pandemic is over if you are not happy with how the U.K. governments have dealt with certain issues then USE YOUR VOTES AND VOTE THEM OUT!

Good news. My 78 year old neighbour originally from Singapore cooked me a lovely fried rice with bacon for lunch today - delicious. We phone each other every other day for a chat.
She cooks meals for the old widower who lives round the corner.
I'll make her a summer pudding tomorrow withstuff I froze last summer.
Her daughter & my Home Help go to different supermarkets, so we do swaps of what we can't get.
Really pleased to see my home help had proper protection this week - so relieved for HER, I'd been so worried about her doing my shopping, I'd cut it right back.
The gentleman who helps with my garden, cheerful & works really hard (home help's husband) is self employed. So I keep on paying him, (I'd use the money anyway) & don't expect anything in return. He was so delighted, he couldn't get the words out, I was really uplifted that I'd helped someone - so I got an unexpected reward.
My locksmith came to the door when lockdown for older people started, to tell me he'd do anything he could to help me out. He's a brick in the local community.
I inherited 37 toilet rolls from my Mum 2 years ago! but only use 1 a month. I'm now a toilet roll dispenser for the occasional person who's run out completely.
My point is that this lock down has brought us all closer together because we really care about each other. Remember one person has to reach out 1st.
We're all OK!! Erm we're "at the older end of the spectrum" because we do what we should be doing - quarantine for our own safety. If we all follow the rules, it'll stop spreading & burn itself out. You'll be fine if you follow the rules.
To encourage you with the figures, They change a bit for several reasons, These are averages. 80 people out of a hundred who get the virus, recover at home.
15 people out of a hundred who get ill need oxygen in hospital Some but not all of them have other major illnesses. 5 (possibly less) people out of a hundred who get ill, pass away, but remember that the older people are often weaker from other illness, even if very active & the immune response is poorer. So 95% recover.
The reason why we are seeing so many deaths is that there are a lot of people in any country or large city, thousands of people have the virus & the 5's add up as more people get infected. So stop the infection spreading, & the numbers will come down. If everyone did it strictly, it would "burn itself out" - can't get to another person to infect them.

Relugus there are three options: 1. Vaccinate the majority of the population. 2. Herd immunity. 3. Cure every single person in the planet. These are the only 3 ways to stop a pandemic completely. The vaccine isn’t going to be ready for a year and there simply aren’t the resources to cure everyone. Herd immunity is the only way to halt the spread this year. The lockdown slows it, but herd immunity is a proper endgame and the only viable endgame within a year. Yes it’s unpleasant and deeply damaging, but it is a realistic solution.

It only takes a few weeks to establish new habits and we've already seen encouraging changes. People are now supporting each other. People are focusing on what is really important in their lives. The air is cleaner, wildlife is returning to our back yards. With the extra time on our hands we're learning to "make do", to fix things instead of throwing them out and to appreciate what we have. After this, who will ever take their health or their family for granted again? My heart goes out to those who are sick or dying , and to their families.

Regarding panic buying, hoarding of food and food shortages.
In pre-industrial Britain, the country was largely self sufficient in terms of food production. Not much was imported from the continent. Also it took 7 to 8 people working on the land to produce enough food to feed 10 people, which meant approx 75 percent of the population always worked in agricultural production depending on how good a year it was. (Source: "Before the Industrial Revolution" Carlo M. Cipolla, Methuen & Co., 1976)
Fast forward to 2020. Britain only produces 50 percent of its own food nowadays and only 1 percent of the workforce work in agriculture. Everything else is imported from all over the world.
Gloabalisation is very successful...as long as it works. The supply chains are very fragile, and we are now seeing them being disrupted. For example a lot of our fresh vegetables come from the South of Spain. If production there is disrupted due to an out of control pandemic, what happens to Britain's food supply?
If food was no longer being imported from outside, we would face serious food shortages and there would suddenly only be 50 percent of the food we usually have in the country. If food waste was reduced to zero, and there was serious rationing, we might get through it with a great deal of hardship. Could we ramp up food production very quickly to become self sufficient again? I am no expert on this, but I think it would be very difficult. It was done during the war, but the population was a lot smaller and people still had the skills to be able to grow their own. A lot of younger people these days do not even know how to boil a potato never mind grow one. Anyway, it is not entirely reasonable to expect to be able to eat strawberries, peaches etc at Christmas like we do now. We may find ourselves having to go back to eating only locally grown and in season food like previous generations have always done here for thousands of years. Maybe not an entirely bad thing?

Or, yknow predict the trend from what it is now.
      Flu virility 1.3,covid 2.5
Death rate 0.4% for flu, 2% covid.
So if you know exponential do the math but is a complex equation.
Deaths five times, plus exponentially higher infection rate, but also maybe the social distancing measures, but also the supply of treatment when health services overloaded.

South Korea has shown the world how you beat this. If governments are pro-active and chase the virus it can be mostly neutered.
If Johnson had followed South Korea and taken quick action with a huge testing program, there would be no need for a lockdown. The lockdown is the result of his dithering and inaction.

We are employing the herd immunity strategy. We have simply added some mechanisms to protect resources. Herd immunity is the only long term answer in the absence of a vaccine. A vaccine is probably a long way off. What we are doing now is unsustainable in the short term, never mind the medium and long term. We have to protect resources for as long as possible so as more and more people get sick and recover, the herd immunity will gradually come into place.
