- I thought I would show the viewers some of the great and varied sea life I encounter on my coastal foraging trips to the seashore. The sheer diversity of life that I come across never ceases to amaze me. I hope you enjoy the video-If you have any relevant questions,I will be pleased to try and answer them via the comments section .
Bless this pure blissful man. Hurts me a little to see him slip when the rock desintegrated, then proceeds to teach us some more after falling. What a strong man hahaha.
Thank you SalmonFish,I was not hurt in any way,but it gave me a perfect opportunity to show a Piddock Shell-Kind regards,Craig.
I love how the dog looks like he's your little foraging student! Costal good boys 101.
The dog is hilarious and always gets the first look in. Loving these videos. Thanks. 😂

This takes me back. When i was a youngster in the 70s, all of our family holidays were in Port Eynon. We'd spend hours foraging around the rock pools. My dad always had his crabbing hook with him. To this day, fresh crab sandwiches and pickled onions are my favourite summer lunch.
Great video. Thank you, and subbed.
Port Eynon is a great area for this type of activity, regards Craig
This dog is so cute. Love retrievers
Sir you should have 2 million subscribers. God bless and keep up the good work.
What a wonderful video Craig. The depth of your knowledge is very impressive indeed, as is your enthusiasm and love for that environment and very lovely part of the world. I can really wind down watching you discover what's under those rocks and feel like I'm with you sometimes - you're such a natural naturalist!
Bless the dog,He gets so exited to see whats under each stone,And he loves getting his screen time lol
I watch these videos when I’m stressed
You are amazing you should be in Guinness book of records how clever you are!
Steady on , regards Craig
Your beautiful dog is more keen to see what's under the rocks than we are haha! Love the videos, and the fact that you're so knowledgeable. Your kids and grand children are so lucky to have you.
Yes Maise, "Llew" is really curious, regards Craig

Stop hating on the Cutie Dog, he being a part of the video makes it more organic and amazing
Another great video! Thank you!
Thank you Alexander.
why so much hate on the dog? i would rather see a dog having a good time rather than a close up of a hideous eldritch sea monstrosity
I love your videos. Thanks for your knowledge.
Thank you Bradley, you are very welcome, regards Craig
I think the pup is trying to keep the crabs and fish in check and catch them for you guys. “I got em for you! I catch!”

Thank you for your concern and kind words Leif,I do try my best to bend my knees when lifting, but on occasion, due to the location/shape of the rocks, this is not possible, regards Craig

Thank you for your comment D Devries,I am sure "Llew" will calm down when he is older, but the videos are meant to be educational, show off our Welsh natural environment and fun. I really enjoy having "Llew" accompany me and would not want to deny him a nice day out at the coast, kind regards Craig.
Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans no harm meant, truly, I love this breed.
I would just be so into what you were doing that I would lean in to see what you were doing or what you had, then i would get frustrated by seeing too much of the back of his head 😁
I love your videos, too. Please keep them coming 😊👍 it was just a suggestion. It's all new terrain for me, but I've seen goldies' heads a lot. 😆
Please, no offense meant, love the pup 💕

Sorry for the late reply E.sohansolo 1st, it went to the "potential spam " folder .Thank you for your comment, there are many more videos planned, regards Craig
You brought back my memories, all those years i went camping and used to go fishing and crabbing. i’ve been to Pembrokeshire wales quite a few times actually, Tenby and Swansea, my favourite beach there was Port eynon, i think i spelt it right
but please correct me if I’m wrong. I used to go rock pooling with my dad but just about to have my first child so not long to go before i can take him rock pooling. Can’t wait :) My dad was a marine biologist and studied at Swansea university. He used to teach me everything about what we found. Good video btw :) just subbed, maybe ill lookout for you when i next go there!
Thanks for taking the time to post this up!
You are welcome John,I really enjoy making them.Regards Craig
Oh the Blenny!!! How gorgeous 😊
I have pet blenny's there the coolest fish ever
Hi Duty and D Devries, for many years I kept a large native marine aquarium featuring most of the fish and organisms I find in the videos,it's one of the reasons I studied their habitat and behaviour . In my experience the Tompot blennies would eat the sea anemones in the tank .I am considering setting up a very large aquarium again ,with a view to making videos on finding the fish and other organisms and perhaps a TH-cam live stream, regards Craig.
Interesting to say the least !!! 👍
Realy enjoy your vlogs !!!!
Glad you like them Patrick, many more planned, regards Craig

The best one yet, loved seeing all of the different colored crabs and especially loved the star fish they were beautiful! I know I say it every time but fantastic video and keep up the great work.
Thank you for your kind words Sarah,it is a passion of mine to keep on learning about shoreline ecology .I have barely scratched the surface on what life is available to publish on video. For many years I kept a large native marine aquarium at home and studied most of the fish, crustaceans ,anemonies molluscs etc etc.I am thinking of doing this again and making some videos of the process of setting this up ,collecting the specimens and may be a live broadcast. Kind regards Craig.
Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans Hi Craig, I think the aquarium idea is brilliant it would be really interesting to see the progress of the creatures under your care :)
