We need to revisit these messages. These present-day pastors and preachers are not committed to unapologetically preaching the Word.

Amen, that is the true gospel, most preachers wants to sugarcoat the word, they do not want to hurt people's feelings, but we are supposed to tell the truth, because the truth will set you free, and the truth cut's going and coming, but the truth will set us free, i am a living witness to that. Thank you minister woods for sharing.

Most underrated pastor of his day

Dr Jackson was far from underrated . The longest serving President of The NBC USA. His address was the highlight of the convention. He was greatly respected as a preacher.

Dr. J. H. Jackson did a great job growing the NBC but he missed the boat on the issues it came to MLK and social justice

He sure did. He had a great dislike for Dr King

If you believe social activisim is a better solution for blacks in America than the preaching of the gospel then I can see why you say he missed the boat. In my opinion Dr Jackson disagreed with Dr Kings method more so than disliking him. From what I can see he believed that preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, voting and being law abiding citizens would do more for to advance the causes of blacks in America than sit ins protest and marching. I believe there is a time and place for social activism however it (social activism) should never rise above the gospel which has the power to change men's hearts and minds and not just laws which is better for all citizens in this country.
