As a child I recall "Daddy King" staying at our house each year. He was guest preacher celebrating our Concord Baptist Church anniversary. Both he & my dad, Gardner C. Taylor were enjoyable to watch! I miss you Daddy King and the Sunday mornings when you pick up my brother and I for Sunday school at Ebenezer Baptist Church. After the benediction, you would always say "Shake hands with somebody and keep looking up".
I attended a service that Daddy King preached in Champaign, IL in 1975. He was amazing, kind and loving. Lunch was served after service, and he mixed with the congregation.

Dr King's father is truly remarkable; however it is also sad and tragic that he lived longer than his iconic son and his own wife; while MLK was murdered, his own wife was assassinated by a Black Hebrew Israelite

It is very obvious where King Jr got his passion and ability to hypnotize and motivate an audience. Christ did teach His disciples to catch people just as a fishermen catches fish within a net.
