Does the melody go with or against the chord progression. Are there any rules or do I just have to feel it and play it by ear. Because I can’t say this gives me an idea of how to start a melody and finish it to match my chord progressions like yours did. Sorry I’m new to beat making. Is this for advanced players? Because the way you just click in notes is crazy and I don’t know how you know where to go next 🤦🏾♂️

cntrl + left click (select a note) hold and drag to select more than one. Cntrl + up arrow or down arrow to jump octaves. Velocity moves (you can select specific notes or cntrl + A to select them all.. then Alt + mouse wheel to go up/down)
