sir the question 4 can be done in a easier way I think x^5-101x^3-999^x+100900=0 X^2[ X^3-101x-999]= -1009*100 since 100 is only perfect square factor of 10900 and x is an integer X^2=100 x=+_10 we put value of 10 in the other part and find solution and -10 is neglected

Sir is talking about those students who have enough confidence and practise that they can do..... First timers can't do it by just observering it but ya you will gain confidence by practise so don't love hope.... This was a situation I faced. hope u read it and. Just practise a lot..........

Sir in the last ques that u gave (USAMO 1984), the biquadratic eqn can be solved by using the four formulae of sum and product of roots. But sir, is there any other better or productive way of solving that question, if yes can u please show it?

Sir at Q.5, 46:00 there in question it is written that a, b, c, d are distinct integers, but just next it is given that p(a)=p(b)=p(c)=p(d)=5, that means that a, b, c, d is 5. So how can they be distinct?
Say f(x) = x^2 then f(a)=f(b)=1. Then does a = b ? No, because a = 1 and b= -1 also satisfies the equation. So, p(a)=p(b)=p(c)=p(d) doesn’t necessarily mean that a=b=b=c=d.
