A very comprehensive video and I know exactly what you meant when you mentioned being in a zone and how it felt and I felt like I could throw all day without throwing a seven and how it feels to make the whole table happy and in awe of my dice control and I definitely saved this video in my playlist and thank you Howard and Chef for your advice.
Enjoyed your video with Howard. I gained so much insight on various tosses and sets. I have been uncomfortable tossing at the table and need to find my comfortable shooting position. Send my Thank you to Howard and Keep up the great content.
Howzit.... it great to revist video , I also took classes from Howard... great teacher it's always good idea to revisit this video.. because it gets back to basics and get you back on track with little reminders on tosses ..Let it Rip! ALOHA !
Awesome lession in controlled, consistent shooting, loved the tip about planting the left foot flat and only raising the right foot when you pivot before the throw..
Awesome Video!!!! It was great that Howard and You were able to share some of the great insight/drills with all of us here. Thanks to Howard for allowing to put it out there!!! Many times while watching, i felt like i needed to ante up and chip in for the session!!! Great Stuff. And of course, there were a few seeds (from the video) that have been planted in my head for my drills and experimentations!!!! Even the Corner Shot is a huge opportunity for me now... as i may have an actual shooting option if i ever get stuck in SR1/2 again!!!! Normally, i would just pass the dice, because i just can't do the whole leaning over to the side (flamingo stance). hahaha. But now i have options!!! Great Stuff!!! Huge Props out to @Howard and to Mrs. ChefDice for the great camera work throughout the whole session!!! Keep up the Great shooting and Videos 'Chef Dice'!!!! From Toothpick Ted......... "TH-cam... Watcher....... OUT!!!!! " haha
Howard is the best! Thank you Chef for creating this outstanding video. I have had two classes with Howard and the sessions after each class, were winners! My longest roll was a hand of 63 at Hollywood Casino Charlestown, and I was in the "zone".
Chef Dice, I took the class several days before you and it was all worth it. Howard’s teaching skills are on point. I too picked up different positions on the table. I’ll be heading back up to Las Vegas on August 28 - September 1. So if you’re in town, we should take the casino’s 🎲🎲money and run. Thanks for sharing your video’s.
Elmer enjoyed the video of your class with Howard. I like that he's not just limiting you to stick left or right. I've been telling people to try all positions.
That low!!!! Yeah 😂😂😂. That’s exactly what I said when I seen it lol. Ty very much for this very informative video and ty Howard for allowing you to film it. Priceless
I am glad to be able to inform you two that your information and teaching has made me popular with the Atlantic city crap table workers by putting them up and a dollar on the small 2-6 and putting them up on the tall 8-12 and putting them up a dollar on the all alone with 5 on each for myself and I hit every number 4 different time in a 6 week span
Had a chance to meet and play with Howard this last weekend by chance. Never met before, what a great guy. Definitely going to hook up for a lesson next time in Vegas.
Thanks Chef and Howard for this Video, new sub here. Howard is the Obi-Wan Kenobi of dice influencing and just like Princess Leia, when he is asked for help he offers his many years of wisdom in a humble, calm and confident way. As a student of Howard's when he speaks and shows how he uses his nimble hands (which should be insured for $1M each), and how to own every position and table surface it truly is a Master's Class. Open your mind, listen closely and watch carefully, you'll enjoy Craps not only as a player but as a practitioner. Thanks for the post, I will watch it many times especially to get in the zone before entering the casino.
Lots of great information i this video. Thank you Chef Dice, wife Sam and the legend Howard for sharing all the different tosses. As always a great video. Keep it going. 🤙🤙🤙
Great video there Chef! I was so inspired, I hit the casino over the weekend & tried a different approach, I tried the "corner shot" from Stick-Right & seven'd out after 1 roll! lol. Ugh! Then I tried from the End of the Table which I usually never do, & I rolled to 37 rolls & made 4 points (5 & 6's)& a few hardways I was the only shooter at the table, & the stickman said Nice Roll buddy. I usually do real well at the stick-right position & a couple weeks ago, rolled a pair of 36's & one 28 roller, on the 28 roll, I rolled am astonishing 8 hardways, using the hardway set. That's the only set I use now!, other than the All 7 & the 5-6 / 6-5 for the come out rolls. And like Howard says, You have to be totally focused on every shot, & visualize how you want those dice to behave! You need to be in the Zone.
That was a awesome video Chef Dice🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽keep up with the good work!!! I been watching you and Mr. MoneyShot for over a year. This month made 1 year I played my first Craps game @ Orleans in Las Vegas it was awesome and fun!!! Wish I could meet you guys one day even we live in the same island lol…”🎲Let da Dice B Nice🎲"
Nice show , I am left handed and only throw right handed for now, a lot straighter throw. If I want 7’s to show , left handed is my go to., then when I get get a point then I throw right handed.
Chef Dice…Thank You and Howard so much for sharing your training session. It’s an eye opening view on leveling up our game to incorporate throws from different positions as I am very much like you if SL1/2 isn’t open I’m stalking the spot waiting for it to open up. Definitely something I am going to work on to strengthen my game. Mahalo!
RIP- Roll in Peace my friend. We had Howard's wife and some of his friends on the Tribute show to Howard, Enjoy: th-cam.com/users/liveya1FI_DjzOM?si=pqI0FmMfvWgIw6fb
Excellent video Howard, enjoyed seeing you and Chef Dice demonstrate the set, grip and throw in an easy to understand fashion. Hope to meet you fellas one day. Thanks Joe
I agree about the zone, I went as far to play live events on my phone to get the Casino zone! The sounds of the HCS playing a live event with the Music, people talking, all the things that happen to us in the Casino. I also had issues with simply concentrating on the betting, it took me out of the zone. I found it to be a distraction...So like Howard said I just let it go. That improved my throwing by as much as 50%.
Hi Chef...I'm using video to analyze how dice react to different landing zones with different arcs. The roll at Main Street looked like 1/2 inches from the back wall may have been your best LZ for stopping the dice with minimum rollout?? Again congratulations on a great roll. Your desire to learn and dedication to practice is to be admired.
All this video being shot needs to be analyzed. Mel had a great camera angle his last trip at El Cortez. Knowing the sweet spot on casino tables is valuable information. I'll be back in Vegas first week in August...hopefully with an edge.
Frank Scoblete once documented when Mr. Newman had a really good roll and had an inordinate amount of sixes rolled. Much more than what random roller could do. Does Mr. Newman live near the Cruise Port in Ft. Lauderdale?
aloha frankie - the best place i would go on the strip is bellagio tables aren’t bouncy got a nice feel to it. second is palms casino very similar to bellagio as for downtown fremont , golden nugget good luck frankie hope to see you at the tables
Very good information so thank you so much . My question is why would you have all of these tosses once or after you know which toss works for 😮you best? Until then yes but after you know what works- put all the time in that toss and master it instead of trying to be the master of all tosses and master none 😢Mike trout and Ted Williams have only one best swing - same things with Roger Clemens or Ryan they throw the same way just different pitches . Don’t need to throw many aways just master 1 Reliable way if you can, period!
Elmer, where have you been? I haven't seen you in Vegas or on your Utube channel, bro? Remember sharp shooter tournament on final table we both went all in on the field and lost it all on your dad's roll... 🤣
Lol this is the time my company does a lot of weddings and catering.. just finished a stretch of 7 weddings in 9 days .. but will ramp it up once it slows down .. planning to go to Boston/ac/Las Vegas in July
Well the players are on your side they will move the chips out of the way if you ask. you shouldn't move if your set and comfortable...because a slight angle move until proven is a most likely a 7 ..you have ONE practice shot on the come out before a point is hit. I change nothing when my point is hit. right now loving the 1/2 top 3/3 facing me, arm lift just above level with a light flick 4' from wall .. horns and hard 6 9 5 hit. hard 4 good for all tall and small
i've started shooting from SL2 because I'm righthanded and the box man yells, "DON'T CROSS THE STICK MAN!" When you're shooting form SL1 or SR1, you can't HELP but cross teh stick.
@@chefdice When I first start betting, I tip a little, on wins. Once I'm up, I start placing player controlled bets at 10% of whatever my bets are, for the dealers. If I have $60 each, on the six and eight, I place a dealer bet for $6 each for the dealers but tell them they are player controlled. That way, if I win, they win but, it costs me NOTHING because I get those bets back, if I pass the dice and leave. They only get the wins but not the original bets. I had a pit boss come out, when I colored up, and told me that he was doubling my points on my card and, if there was ANYTHING I wanted, rooms, steakhouse dinners, or anything else, just let him know because "we appreciate the way you play".
I watch this video alomost once a month, especially before I go to the casino. Mr. Howard was the best teacher I have ever seen.
