La Loma, Quezon City is where I was born and spent my childhood years. Our ancestral house is still there. I remember growing up hearing pigs squealing so loud on the streets because they are being slaughtered.
Naaalala ko pa sa mahabang taon at panahon na lumipas (54yrs.past and now i'm 60 yrs.) naranasan ko ang magpihit ng litson baboy ng mano-mano diyan sa La Loma. At dahil nga maaga akong naulila sa ama naranasan ko nga ang mag pihit sa aking murang edad(6yrs.oldako noon)dahil may Tiyahin at pinsan akong nagtratrabaho diyan(matadero at kusinero).
Binigyan ako nang luma di malutong nang Ryan na lechon na yan di na ako uulit diyan napahiya ako sa bisita tapos malamig pa yon lechon galing pa ata sa rep 😂😂😂
This place I grew up 1947 to 1957. The street used to be called Retiro, until it got changed to Amoratto.😮😮 mang Tomas is were my mother bought the lechon. The Cock fight arena was next door. He used to call my mother Aling Bosiang.
