  • In this video we finish replacing the engine in this 2003 Honda S2000 AP1. Before putting the new engine in, we replaced the timing chain, oil pump chain, sprocket, tensioners, timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, pulleys, belt, harness, and much more. We also decided to install an ACT ProLite flywheel and a LuK clutch kit along with new bearings. With everything put back together this s2000 is back on the road again. • @houseofno
      @houseofno 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This isn't a sixth gen Toyota Supra. That BMW engine is NOT going to talk to those Honda electronics and vice versa. How about the gauge cluster? Not a simple swap either. Then there is fabricating the front engine cradle and mounts, cooling system, electrical system. If you're so hot on this swap, why don't you post the video and show the rest of us how it's done?
      Secondly, it's not his car to do this swap on, and the owner of the car did not request or approve this swap. No idea how you planned on paying for this unauthorized swap. What is this, Pimp My ride Felony Edition?

    I'm not even going to watch the video, just keep telling yourselves: this is the most reliable sports car ever made it's a Honda. I'm a Car Guy so I love them all, but I'm not Jay Leno so I got to be choosy and the S2000 with that narrow power band doesn't make the cut. And yes I know you all love that high reving engine so for that category I chose an RX8! You all love the handling so for that category I got me a boxer, doesn't beat the S2000 by much on a track but it beats it every time. And you all love that front engine rear drive Roadster feel and for that I picked a Z3 and an NA Miata!

    For all the Bimmer boys who saw the title and are bashing the car because of the title, it was just the old coil packs. Also I’m glad I didn’t sit through this entire clickbait video to find this out. And yea letting any car sit for a year will deteriorate the clutch and brake systems so it needs a new clutch cylinder and I’m sure the brakes will be the next issue he has and I’m sure he’ll post another clickbait title for those problems too.
