Now Since I haven't been here for a lot of Dude Soup can someone tell me if they've ever just spent an hour talking about Soup on the podcast? I'd actually love to witness that oddly enough...
Thank you for being the enjoyable, lovable bunch that you are. Where I work, everyone got about 2 weeks off for Christmas/Holiday Vacation except for me, because SOMEONE had to be in the office checking emails and answering phone calls. (Side-Note: Customer Service cubicle jobs aren't all that fun). You guys are the only thing helping me stay sane in this lonely office space. I've been watching for about a year now, and I just can't quit you guys.

I think you're talking about "The Nice Guys". I really liked it. I wasn't expecting much of it, but I went there because it was a shane Black movie. And it was an awesome movie, with that Lethal Weapon dark humour feel to it.

I love watching these podcasts because you all bring diferent perspectives to me and I really appriciate that because I like to have more than one opinion matters and you guys each think individualy and bring more than one opinion and you are all civilized about that you talk, you listen and then you agree about something and disagree about about another thing. Ps. You make my day better everyday with a video no matter how bad it is (my day).
I personally prefer this style of podcast. It's reminiscent of when me and my friends are just hanging out, maybe one or two of us is playing a game, and we just talk about stuff. Plus it's gotta be easier than having the set.

It's kind of strange being with a channel from the very beginning. Granted, I didn't start following the guys until they joined RT, but I have been here since the very first video (and I did go back and watch every single Inside Gaming video as well. I used to have far too much free time). I can't say that for any other channel. I've seen every single video FH has put out, and many of them several times over. You guys are easily my favourite source of entertainment, bar none. You could put out any nearly any type of content, and I would undeniably watch it. So long as you you keep your chemistry alive, I'll still be here.
Don't know if any of you guys got to see it but my best/most recommended movie of 2016 was GREEN ROOM. I wouldn't quite say you have to have seen it in the theaters for its full effect, but it was one of the most visceral, emotional, memorable movie theater experiences I've ever had and it was awesome to watch a movie that was so goddamn cool and badass.
33:00 VR has been around since the 90's though, lol. I realize the screens are apparently better now but when I used a set in 96 with Descent it was true 3D and actually pretty damn awesome. We even had head tracking back then so that isn't new either.
when Pokemon Go came out, I started taking walks to the local pokestops, and I used it as an exercise app. The game requires you focus on the pokestops because its the only sustainable way to play. It is essentially an exercise app in that you have to walk to these pokestops repeatedly and catch what you can on the way. How could anyone expect to travel enough to encounter different enough ecosystems to acquire pokemon that dont spawn near them? They couldn't, hence hatching, which requires you walk. Pokémon go is an exercise app, people just didn't want to accept that. If it wasn't for the cold weather I'd still take walks for it.
James is all "movies don't care about what you feel in your heart," stemming off of Rogue One's well reception. But to quote Adam from the RTX 2015 panel: "It's FACKING STAR WARS" It's a fun space adventure with likeable characters in space, it ain't exactly setting out to be the Godfather.
Definitely have to agree with James on drama being ever present on our phones. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is there is some reason for drama to be at the top of the news feed. I love mindless action and laughter. I watch a lot of funhaus because it is my guaranteed 5 minutes of fun and laughter. For that reason alone I honestly believe that's a huge part of the lack of dynamic characters and their development within films.

I think the only benefit it might come out of it is Joker losing the tattoos and putting a shirt on in the Batfleck's Batflick or he might just not want to be in these movies anymore.
For the record, the Furi soundtrack has more than just Carpenter Brut: The Toxic Avenger, Waveshaper, Danger, Lorn, Kn1ght, Scattle And they're all fan-fucking-tastic. The game is worth playing for the soundtrack alone.

The vertical beam is nothing like the one that I see normally with astigmatism, it seems more like light breaching through the top, rather than your eyes warping the image to have the beam of light, it's like there is LCD bleed. and again, astigmatism is a non-countable noun, so you don't have one astigmatism, you have astigmatism in one eye.
I only have it in one eye. I think that's part of the issue as well. brain doesn't do well putting the two images together without some kind of corrective lens over my eye.
Your complaints about the Oculus Rift around 29:30 seem to be specific to your rift, Lawrence. I preordered mine, so I have one from the same batch as you (presumably). I've used both the Rift and the Vive, and I can say with confidence that the lenses and resolution are better on the Rift than the Vive.
Lawrence Sonntag The lenses they used are weird. I forgot what they're called, but they basically have a sweet spot where things look clear. I had to adjust it on my head until I found it, maybe that's your problem? Otherwise, I don't know either

At first I was not a fan of this podcast stuff of yours, but eventually I grew to love it and now I can't live without them.

The FGC is huge James . And SFV was on ESPN world wide twice this year. I don't think people are abandoning it the community is strong and huge.
