If Star had one for all she'd be dead within a month since having one for all and another quirk in the same body starts to rapidly age and kill the user. The reason it it's not the same for Deku and all might is because they were quirkless.

Wait a second, I just realized why was All Might going to U.A High School searching for the next inheritor for one for all in season 1 if stacking quirks is so bad? Genuine question btw.
@creativenate The answer is that nobody knew. None of the past one for all users had any idea of this and why the 4th user died so mysteriously. It wasn't until last season when all might looked into the past user's and cross-referenced with himself did they finally understand that one for all is too much for someone with another quirk. Expecally now that the past user's quirks have manifested.
In mha unless your a special case like one for all and all for one or genetically modified to handle multiple quirks, having multiple quirks is said to be too strenuous on the user. The max we've seen a normal person to be able to potentially handle just fine is two. Any more than that, and it's too much for their body and mind to handle.
