I like it. It's a great climbing saw. On my second pine tree video, I started with a top handle and it worked and all, but then I get to fatter wood and I'm at the mercy of the ground hands who take FOREVER to get me a bigger saw when I need one. I don't like that at all. If I am just limbing out a tree to set a rope and pull it over I might use a top handle... But if I'm cutting over 10" diameter at any time from here on out, I'm going up with what I need from the jump.
I still have 2 spurs dug in with steel core flip-line tied in underneath the branch, and my saw never even goes all the way through the branch so steel core is pretty safe . Also using 2 hands with a Stihl MS261c with good positioning on a pole. I do get the advice there though for sure and I appreciate it.
Hey dude you did a great job but try to always be above your cut. I learned that the hard way but you did great for your first pine tree
Well done 👍
@@Mega-Saw thanks!
Next time make sure the gate on your beener is facing out, and not touching tree
Thank you for the good advice.
9:10, what is the tree in the distant?
Very tall pine tree on the same property I was working on
@@BoutTreeFitty yes it was!!!
How do you like climbing with a 261?

cutting next to your life line like that is sketchy as fuck

@@BoutTreeFitty you should be keeping your life line around the trunk at your waste level underneath your flip line
