They're expensive to build, an extra monthly expense for maintenance, and they increase energy bills especially if heated during the winter. Just FYI ;) as far as the garage in the back, some older neighborhoods have an alley in the back between the homes and the garage is in the back and so is the garbage can, the garbage truck goes through the alley to pick up the trash but it is weird for the lot to not go up to the sidewalk in the front despite an alley in the back.
In North America, it's fairly common to have a garage in the backyard that opens onto the back alley, which is a street behind the house. In those houses, often you can't get to the garage from the front street at all.
miko and vanessa definitely give me always be my maybe vibes: both grew up in a close knit asian community where they were family friends and everyone kind of knew theyd be the perfect couple even from childhood, and despite growing apart for a while bc of careers, they find themselves again and get together

In my area of Texas, there are some neighborhoods (in my area) that the front of the house is more so aesthetic but there's a road behind all the houses and that is where the driveway, garage, trash is. Usually more parking is done on the main road (aesthetic side) due to this. Though they still have walkways in the front to meet the sidewalk, so that is a bit weird.

To me would be cool if Venessa and Miko started to date and decided to live together and the Karaoke Legends stay in San Mishuno and you could add a another roomies house created by you to put next to Miko and Venessa's house. I'm not a fan of two houses on the same lot and think that will match the world better than a family (just a suggestion ❤️). You could try the create a story mode with the roomies next door and even do a house as a challenge of how to cross the Sims' stories in a house! And that weird bar in Del Sol Valley into a karaoke bar! It would be soooo much better and add so much to Del Sol Valley PS: I love this house so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I guess names are pronounced in their own way in every language and every way is done correctly. For example Julia is so differently pronounced in Englisch, French, German and Russian. It is a name that roots back to the time of Julius Caesar and even more in the past when people spoke Latin. So don’t feel annoyed by people who are pronouncing your name in another way. ;)
It's not the pronunciation, it's the spelling that's always wrong. People purposely spell it incorrectly, thinking they're doing me a favor by "correcting" it. Which is what is annoying. Lol

Hello- I'd sometimes say toilet to be honest, if it was just a toilet and a sink, but I'm not sure! English does some weird stuff. (Also never apologise for your English, you are learning, you will make mistakes, but the important thing is you are trying!!! and your English is really good anyway )
