The entire section between Oxford and Leamington is really great for freight, it just so happens that I was fortunate enough to catch some 20s as well! Thanks Arnold 😉
Poor you. I lived there for 3 months only.. then moved somewhere worse but only just in Atherstone... haha! now i live someone even worse than that.. so you got the good end of the deal there 😂😂😂
Great video 😎👍🏽 A lot of people don’t realise what a fantastic station Leamington Spa is for freight and traffic variety 😀👍🏽 Well captured...loved the class 70 restarting and taking the Coventry line 😎👍🏽
Nice Video. Really nice station. Especially with all those freight trains that come past. It’s quite a surprise that a lot of freights come past there. Keep those videos coming. I love em
Welcome to the UK 😂 Unfortunately, most major operators use the Class 66 due to its solid design and number, liveries really are the only differences. Thanks Tiger Trainz
Hey the old intro is back. Thank you for bringing it back. The new one was good but the older one was also good. Thanks for bringing it back. Also i Love your videos.
Thanks for sharing your opinion Trains and Aviation. The new one will be on all new videos I make from now but this (and one other) was made before I brought the new one into use. I miss it but my video statistics show the old one was actually encouraging people to stop watching!
Chiltern Railways used to have the Class 172/1 Turbostar now they have gone to West Midlands Railway. I wonder why Chiltern Railways didn't want the Class 172/1 anymore.
The 172/1s were a pain for Chiltern to manage. They hardly share anything in common with 168s, lacked tripcocks so couldn’t operate on the Amersham line and although their engine performance was better, they were never really treated in line with the rest of the Mainline fleet. Ultimately, they were a victim of COVID.. Thanks for watching Andrew 🙂
TfL and London Overground could of inherited some of the Class 172/1s that would be used on West Ealing-Greenford branch line. As they used to have the Class 172/0s that were used on the Gospel Oak-Barking line before it was replaced by the Class 710/2. And the GOBLIN route that is now electrified.
@@Andrewjg_89 Tfl doesn't operate the West Ealing to Greenford branch and all the lines they do operate are electrified so the 172s would have no purpose with tfl, hence why they all went to WMR instead.
Leamington Spa railway station serves the town of Royal Leamington Spa, in Warwickshire, England. It is situated on Old Warwick Road towards the southern edge of the town centre. It is a major stop on the Chiltern Main Line between London and Birmingham, and the branch line to Coventry.
I am one massive fan of this video. I am a gentleman who absolutely loves chiltern trains, hence my nickname The Cheeky Chilterner. I also have my own insta account dedicated to my liking of Chiltern Trains.
Great video at Leamington spa mate. Is a really lovely station plus for freights which is nice

Oh. I see. Well good luck on making those new videos with the new Intro. Your my favourite TH-cam TrainSpotter. Keep up the good work 👍
@@TrainsAviation Thank you so much for your support 👍
@StarlifeStudiosRailVideos Your Welcome
Great video!
Thanks Madeline! 😃
I love the fact that most of these trains in this vid are freight
A station with just freight would be so awesome 😃. There are some in the UK where freight is more common than passenger but it's rare.
@@StarlifeStudios I guess Leamington Station might be one of them which has more freight trains than passenger ones
Very enjoyable video as always! Keep up the outstanding work!
Thanks for your support Ryan, you can bet that there are plenty of great videos still to come 😃
No problem! I need to catch up on your amazing content, I can't keep up!
