Very informative channel. I have a NHS 50p coin of which part of the reverse side has been pressed through to the obverse side. On the obverse side there are four diamond shapes around the queens head that have been pushed through from the reverse. Have you any idea if this is a common error?

I found a 20p minted on a foreign blank while metal detecting, I took it to a local auction house, and the guy offered me £80 for it, the messed up thing is, is that I soaked it in vinegar, and have lost the patina it once had, and now looks terrible, not sure if it's still worth anything now.

I'm just wondering, after seeing the "Remember remember the fifth of November" coin, i remembered i had one in my collection. i looked at it wondering if it was a misprint and i'm sure it is. however instead of saying "Pemember pemeber the fifth of November." It reads "Remember remember the fifth of novembep". With a very clear P on the end of November. the writing is not worn in any way, the groves around the coin are still very clear, so i'm positive that it does infact say "Novembep" I have tried researching into this and have found nothing. What do you think?

No idea! New error coins pop up all the time.... If you think you have found one, then you will need to contact the Royal Mint directly, who will give you the details of where to send it to get it verified..... do you think youve found one???
I had a weird looking 20p brown in color. not sure if its just rusted or anything that made it brown. I believed 20p is nickel-steel and rust resistant. Is it possible it can rust?? thanks
Not sure TBH.... it might be worth contacting the Mint to see what their official statement is.... And, see if they want to see it or not, you never know, could have found something great here! Keep me posted as I am interested to hear the outcome!!!!
@@goblitz2098 There is NO Steel in any coins, and you need Iron for rust. Steel is an ALLOY of Iron and Carbon. Your coin has probably been discoloured by weathering, maybe been dropped and lost at some point of its life.

I have a 20 pence coin with one of the date numbers filled in a 2003 with the second nought filled in and rises a little but fills the nought.
I had one of those 20ps and sold it for over £70 . I heard about it and found one in my change a good few years ago. Also have had a kew gardens 50p.

£8-£15 for one of the non issued year 20p. Cheaper just to buy a yearset,take out the 20p and sell the rest in Fleabay.

More than likely just die damage again. The original design 2008 20p is very scarce, not the newer version.

It possibly had oil (you can't compress a liquid!) on the die when it was struck. I have the odd one like that.

I've got a Harry and Megan engagement commemorative error that has one die off axis by roughly 15%.
They all appeared to have faults, very cheaply made, first one I had was milk spotting so I sent it back and got a die error, so I was chuffed!! :)
